A different kind of Spoiler. Tried to take GS-tank off istick to add juice.
Found myself holding the pieces on the left and right, while the one in the center remained screwed onto the mod. More later... off to provision tourists with Stephen King books and local folklore, much of which my colleagues and I invent on the spot.
Ahhhh. Tradition. :D
I think you hold the record for disassembling your tanks in the most unusual ways...
What on earth did you do to the radio and toaster as a kid?!?!?!:eek:
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I looked at that again. Mine was totally different. Sorry

I take that "sorry" back. Gibbs says, "Never apologize. It's a sign of weakness."

Well, as best I can recall after three score and umpteen years, with one it was theosophical, and amatory with the other. Ended up with most divine burned toast with H. V. Kaltenborn intoning—with electrical pops and snaps—in the background. Loved the sound of his voice, even though I wasn't born until some years later.

After that misogynistic stereotypical interlude, we now return to our regularly scheduled program...

The piece on the left fits into the one on the right. No sign of any adhesive. Pressure only.
The piece on the left is threaded on top, and screws into the tank. If you have a GS-Tank, you are accustomed to seeing it as a one piece assembly.

I don't know why it came apart. It wasn't likely the brute strength of a gent who cast his first presidential ballot in 1968. The question now is, "How do I put it together so it doesn't pull another three-piece routine?". Your advice is sought. Crackpot theories gratefully accepted at no extra charge.

Loctite should do the trick...or a new Hampshire screwdriver.
