eLEaf iCare Mini - Crackling and Spitback

Recently picked up an iCare mini. It keeps crackling and popping, and spitting hot juice into my mouth.

I watched video reviews, and read a bunch of comments, and never saw any complaints about this. What gives??

I've tried 60/40 and 70/30 juice. I've tried blowing into the stem to clear out any juice that's collected in it (which shouldn't be happening at all).

Really disappointed with this thing.. was under the impression it was rather well regarded.

This product has it's own thread going, and that issue is addressed on it. Not sure of the answer fully, but mine ceased after I blew it out and maybe it helped me by opening the air fully. Maybe also don't overfill or inhale hard?

Well, I do MTL, so I'm not drawing hard on it. I only fill to the fill line, and when I put the new coil in, I didn't prime, but let it sit 20 mins to soak in. The coil's I guess getting flooded, but no idea why it would.

I've taken it apart, wiped everything down, blew out the stem, dried everything off, etc.. it keeps doing it. *shrugs*

I keep the air control at 1 hole for the tightest draw, so maybe that's why.. but if that's the case, this is a serious design flaw.. since they advertise it as being an ideal MTL device.
