Tuesday I upgraded from the standard started pen that was a few years old. I got an eleaf Ijust2. I have noticed recently that It tastes burnt if I take more than 2 or 3 drags off of it, also if I take a longer drag off of it. I thought it was the coil and put the coil on the tester thing, which usually says NON when its no longer working properly. This one said 0.0 so I thought that was bad. I got a brand new one out, and tested that one which also said 0.0 (Never used) so I put the original back in because if a brand new one says that too, then it cant be my coil. I am using 3mg "Mile high drip" "Crack loops" not sure of the VG/PG because it dosn't say on the bottle. Has anyone else had this issue? Is it normal with this one? Im learning to "Deal with it" but Im not liking it too much!

My first "real" vape is an iJust 2 kit, and I'm still kicking the crap out of it. It goes hard as hell! You must have gotten a bogus product. I did learn one thing, filling it completely full I swear caused a dry hit and wrecked the coil that it came with. Other than filling up the coil itself and letting it sit for a few minutes before you start using it, I can't really offer suggestion to help your dilemma :( they're such a simple device, it's pretty hard to screw up unless it's broken/defective in some way.

I bought just the tank, ran it through twice and it started the burnt dry hits. I replaced with an aspire coil and works fine now. I do use high VG bit its a sub ohm tank, it should handle VG.

I have two friends that had the same issue, I think it's the ec heads, they just aren't up to snuff or have QC problems.

After watching some youtube videos yesterday, because I was almost convinced I was doing something wrong, (I was correct) I realized that I wasnt putting enough juice in the coil its self. So I got a new coil out, pretty much drowned it in juice, then blew the rest out and put it in, filled up and it made such a difference. Im happy with it again now. I also watched some videos on how to "possibly" reuse the first coils by cleaning them. Hopefully that works and I can reuse them. If not, its ok I have 3 more new ones.

Okay, I am by no means an expert. I have an ego v-3 with an aspire tank that I started with (I had to drill a new air hole in that thing to get a hit), a Tesla with 18560 battery and Kanger pro tank (not the greatest setup) and was using an Ego One (leaks, needs a new coil every 5 days) until last week when I bought an IJUST2. I had the 0.3 ohm coil in the tank that came with it for the first week and I love the vapor output on this thing. The battery lasts all day and the tank holds enough juice to last all day. But the hit was overwhelming and tasted burnt at the very least harsh. My juice didn't taste like my juice. Vanilla 60/40 4mg nicotine. There was nothing wrong with the coil That I could find. I had bought 5 coils with the kit and had opted for 0.5 ohm replacement coils. Not wanting to waste a coil (and money) I used the original 0.3 ohm coil for the last week and I changed it for a 0.5 coil this morning. I can taste my juice again, although the vapor output is not quite as high as before. I can only deduce from my experience that I either had a bad 0.3 ohm coil or that 0.3 ohms is to hot for my juice (or most juice?) with that non-adjustable battery. So if both your coils were 0.3 ohm try a 0.5ohm and see if it makes any difference.

I have the ijust2 with .3 ohm coils, and it's great. Had it for about 3 months now. Tons of vapor, good throat hit, amazing flavor and decent battery life. I run about 10-15 ml through it daily, and get at least 2 weeks on a coil. I like it so much, and tend to carry it over my other unit because it's a massive vape in a small package.

I swap this during the day with an itaste MVP 3.0 and herakles sense tank. Also awesome vapor, throat hit and flavor, along with the ability to adjust the voltage from 3-9. I use it at around 3.9 for the most part.

My all day vape tends to be mostly the Steam Co Dragon Warrior, sometimes mixed with some Steamco SCDP or Moment 37. My other primary vape is The Gentleman's Reserve.

I'm very happy with the eleaf, and for me, it's the best 'bang for your buck' kit I've seen. I'm not into modding so for me it's awesome.

I have been an Eleaf istick user since Eleaf hit the market and have trialed the following, 20W, 30w,50W,100w and the new Temperature control 40W and waiting to get my hands on the Temperature control 60W. I am very fond of the Eleaf brand and was somewhat miffed when my supplier has dropped Eleaf in favour of other brands. Oh well, never mind I can get them direct from HeavensGifts. None of my Eleaf's have ever given me a burnt taste, and as I write this I am vaping the Eleaf 100W which at home is by far my favourite because you can actually remove the two 18650 batteries and charge them outside the mod. To me this is very attractive as I ruined a very expensive mod with built in charging when the batteries vented. I never charge mods with removable batteries now with their inbuilt circuitry. Here is a .

The Tank I am using is a Kangartech Subtank utilising the RBA coil deck with a 0.5ohm home made coil.

Running this at 35W with a 50/50 PG VG mix no problems. I am thinking that the burnt taste you are writing about could be caused by faulty juice feed by your tank. My recommendation would be try another type of tank or clearo and compare. Some of the ego type clearos using the 510 adaptor are not very satisfactory. You have not mentioned what sort of clearomiser you are using. If you are using an ego type clearo, then the problem of 0.0 coil reading I have discovered also using the supplied ego/510 adaptors especially on the 20W eleaf as the connector is not spring loaded, a fact that eleaf recified in latter productions. My partner still used the 20W eleaf but I have trashed the ego /510 adapter and replaced it with this one

It is a far better adaptor for eleaf units and my partners clearo is a Kangartech T3D clearo.

Good luck and I hope this helps
