Hello from Norway.

I have some problem with my eleaf ikonn 220w. the first one i got, lasted about two months before it died..
it started showig "atomizer short", "no atomizer" and "device to hot" randomly for no reason..

So i got a new one. and i been using that one for around one month.
today it started blinking "check usb" or "check battery" then i shut itself off..
i tryed a new set of fully charged batteries, but still same..
sometimes it shows that its charging, even its not conected to usb charger..
also battery indicator goes up and down randomly on one battery.
when i press the fire button it shows "check battery" and shut itself off..

So is there allot of problems with ikonn 220, or just bad luck..? it never got wet or anything. i use it togheter with iClear 30s Clearomizer, and in my experience they does not leak allot. before i used eleaf tc40w and there was never a single problem..

The Ikonn 220 does have many reports of flaky performance / issues like you are having.

Are you charging the cells inside the device? or, with a stand alone external charger?

Some folks upgraded firmware to 'fix' them, some folks tried everything and nothing helped.

Sounds like it is time to buy a new power device.

Welcome and glad you joined.
I have used both the Eleaf Istick internal battery mods 30 and 40 for years and never had a problem either. Hope you still have warranty on it. Suggest requesting your money back and stay away from dual external batteries from Eleaf.
Might want to try the ECF search function in upper right hand corner of this post. Could type in "Dependable High power mods".

I talked to the store today, and they could only offer a second new one..
but anyway im not going to use the new one, as i need something reliable.
can not say it feels very safe if they are that unstable..
I charged both only a few times directly to usb, so i dont think thats what kill them.
Tested some updates etc, but didnt help much.

need something with some power, and now i have external charger and several set with rather new 18650, so was hoping to find something similar, preferably with dual batteries.

Anyway thanks for tips and help:)

Well, its not like i need allot of power , just want something i doesent have to charge to often.
i have not calculated it before, but i use 2,1 ohm coil and have it set to 8watts. so around 4volts and 2 amp...? but how many theroretical Ampere hour one could get with diferent batteries, better someone else calculate :) not so importent anyway.

I looked at Geekvape Aegis Legend yesterday actually. only thing i didnt like was the usb port on the top. just was thinking if there was any leaks from the tank? but its suposed to be waterproof, so maybe it doesent mather?

The Aegis mods are all waterproof/leakproof as long as the silicone plugs are intact. You get a spare in case the original becomes damaged. If you charge your batteries in an external charger (as you should) you don't even have to touch the USB plug ever.

8 watts is barely any drain on batteries. At that power setting you should be able to get a full day's use from a single battery; 2 days with a dual battery mod at least.

At that wattage setting, I recommend either the Samsung 30Q, Sony VTC6, or LG HG2 batteries for the longest use per charge.

Ok thanx :) with ikonn and two sony 18650 vtc4, it last probably little more then two days, so that seems about right. i always charge batteries everyday, but nice to have a little extra power now and then.

I also talked to the store again today, and i could choose another mod from them instead of. just need to pay whatever difference in price. so i think it will be Geekvape Aegis Legend. they cost about the same too.
