How much resistance variance?
What delivery device are you using?
RBA type or replaceable attomizer heads. Trap screws tight or head seated into base properly.
Are you using TC with an appropriate wire type or watt/power mode with kanthal or ss?
Are all 510 connection points & threading clean, shiny & dry?
Are you over tightening the delivery device to power device?

hello sir.
i have bought from fasttech .i think this is first production.i always use 1 ohm with kanthal wire in power wattage mod.510 connector always clean and dry.all screws are tight and normal.
i try with differents atomizers.but same problem.

How much resistance variation?
Sometimes over tightening just once can booger up the 510 on the power device.
Is the center pin springy but still stiff to move ?
for example i take out atomizer 3 4 times.each time different values.0.95, 1.03, 0.98 , 1.02.
if you have not any problem like mine.i think my device has a problem.

That's not enough variation to be worried about, especially with factory coils. Less than 1/10th of an Ohm won't affect performance.

The issue is most likely with the tank or coils. Or both, but not a big deal.

I would not worry about that kind of resistance "shift." It happens with some of my mods, and it may be the coil breaking in, being hot or cold when the mod "reads" it, it's nothing to be concerned about. If otherwise you like your firmware upgrade, I really wouldn't worry about it. It's just not enough change to flip out about, especially if it's vaping fine and you haven't had any other issues.

Best of luck

The issue wasn't with the firmware. The NFE Tool's device monitor app displays active resistance to the thousandth of an Ohm.

Something in the hardware changed if resistance has stabilized. Most likely in how the coil is fastened in or how the tank is attached.

Again, a few hundredths of an ohm drift either way is not something to be concerned about, at all.
In watt mode the chip/board compensates output to slight variances to keep your set wattage accurate as displayed.
Using a Tc mode you'd lock resistance cold and again the chip/board compensates output to keep your set temp.

These are not ultra precession devices, none of them, they all will have slight variances when reading resistance.
You're talking about 8/100 of a single ohm.
Another way to look at it is 92% accurate, that is dang good for mass produced inexpensive electronics.
Even if you spent $600 dollars on a power device being 92% accurate would still be a high bar to set.

What he said^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. That amount of resistance change is totally within the realm of normal. I find the invoke kit to be excellent, as well as many of my other mods who occasionally show a resistance change. It's just... No mod reads everything perfectly, and even something as simple as stepping outside from a warm room into the cold could change the resistance by 0.01. It's not worth worrying about. If you think the 510 connection is loose, that is another matter, and perhaps worthy of a warranty. But not for the resistance change alone. The invoke is one of my favorite mods, and many others really like it. You can warranty if you think it's a genuine concern, that is up to you. But no mod is going to read resistance perfectly all the time, or at least most won't.

Best of luck, I think the Invoke is a fantastic device, and may be working fine, but you are the one who has to vape it, so if you aren't satisfied, all I can say is to warranty the device, perhaps the replacement will be exactly the same, perhaps it will improve.

Best of luck with whatever you decide...

Anna
