Eleaf Istick 20W and Nautilus Mini, Good choice?

Thanks for all the replies guys, seems like I made a good choice . Guess if I ever wanted to upgrade to the Kanger Subtank or something alike I'd have to get the istick 30W though huh?

and yes, to anyone that was asking about the MPT3, I have been vaping between 4.0-7.5W depending on the juice. However, this is because I am using some single coil 2.2ohm replacements I have left over from my Evod. They can't handle the power of the Istick lmao.

Thats the exact setup I use...I have two aspire mini's and one istick 20 and one istick30..When you said you were vaping at 4 watts did you mean 4 volts..that would be about 8.5 watts on a 1.8 ohm coil I believe,Bob

I just transitioned from an Aerotank Mega on my iStick 20 and I like it.

I'd get the newer 30W Istick. The 510 threads on my first of three 20W Isticks became totally stripped because I would frequently screw and unscrew my Nautilus tanks to change between flavors. The new 30W has a stronger 510 connection.

@OldBob Yeah, I meant 4.0 watts. The kanger single coils even at 2.2ohm can barely handle 6.5W. I usually have it set to 5.5 or 5.9, no dry hits and good flavor.

Yeah im gonna get it whenever I'm ready to purchase the Kanger Subtank, considering that the 30W will vape sub-ohm coils as well. That Tank looks bangin man, apparently it has better flavor than the Atlantis and it produces vapor closer to that of an RDA. Not to mention all the little goodies that come with it for rebuilding straight out of the box.

I have a Mini Nautilis and Eleaf 20w. I've been vaping at 7.5watt on a 2ohm coil. I'll try 9watt after reading here and see what happens.

Hey everyone, right now I am vaping the Istick 20W with a MPT3 at 4.0W. I am waiting on a Nautilus Mini at the moment, good choice for the Istick 20W?

this is my set up and I like it a lot I did buy the metal birdcage though that way the glass is protected AND I can still see my juice and refil when it gets to low

I was able to quit the cigs using the Nautilus Mini. I haven't used the iSticks so I can't comment on them. I used an iTaste VTR and the mini was great on it. Now the VTR is outdated and I'm using sub ohm Herakles tanks. Good luck on vaping and enjoy your journey.

IIRC the istick 20 is Mean regulated and very likely to deliver dry hits @ 4w. The 30 or 50w versions would be a much better choice. They both have RMS regulation.

The iStick 20W won't go below 5W.

I'm using one with a Nautilus Mini right now and loving it. Good choice IMO

Yeah I use that combo but I use a 30W device rather than a 20W, there is no huge difference when using the nautilus, it just has the option to sub ohm in the future. The nautilus is a great tank which gives great flavour in my opinion! I would highly recommend them combo you said!

Why mini? Nautilus has more capacity.

The mini seems to fit the battery better in my opinion, keeps it more portable! They use the same coils just a smaller tank.

I donated my iStick 20w to my lovely girlfriend, and also donated one of my many Nautilus Mini tanks to her... That was the exact setup I really got into vaping with. I still use my Nautilus to this day, even after getting into RDAs and sub-ohm vaping.
