Hi I'm new to the world of vaping, my first kit was the aspire premium kit which came with an aspire nautilus mini and a CF VV+battery, I have recently purchased an Eleaf iStick 30w to use with my aspire nautilus mini, my question is what setting will I use, I have 1.8ohm coils, so what's the highest and lowest voltage range I should try out and try staying within as I'm sure if I was to use full 30w it would damage the coil right.

The general rule applies, start low and gradually increase. When it starts to taste bad or too hot for your liking back it off a notch.
With the bvc coils I'd start around10w 7w.

I'd suggest setting the istick to watts mode, then similar to what HecticEnergy said start off at a low setting and slowly work your way up taking a vape or three on each setting until you find what you like, if you get an odd/off/ burnt taste turn it down a little.

I've got the eleaf istick 30w with nautilus mini I've find it not very good at 8-11w but at 15w it's awesome very very good flavour and cloud don't get me wrong the flavour is still good at 8-11w but it's I find the vape cold at that wattage for me the thing shines at 15w
