Eleaf Istick 30W screen issue

I introduced a friend of mine to vapeing, so I got him an istick 30W, which he liked a lot,
Unfortunately after he used it for almost an hour, then he started to discover it by playing around with the bottoms, and suddenly the screen is totally blank and the screen is not turning on any more, although the istick is firing with no problems.
Is there is any quick fix for it as we live in a banned ecig country and I got it for him while traveling abroad.

The only thing I can think of is to try plugging it in to charge and see if that resets it and makes a difference. Otherwise I don't know.
