The Melo is a sub ohm tank. The Aspire Nautilus aren't. Personally I wouldn't start at or recommend starting with sub ohm tank, the learning curve is greater than the main stream/beginner vape. Sub ohm's are typically for a more advanced user. Optimal is in what you are looking for out of vape. The Melo is a nice tank.

What a shame.

Both my iSticks came with the eGo adapter and I keep tripping over them in my office when they roll of the desk.

You should get whoever sold it to you to send you the adapter. It's part of the deal i.m.o. (Seriously, that is a cheap stunt to pull)... :)

I've seen many online stores sell them both as kits and as battery only. Even very reputable stores like Mount Baker Vapor, but they clearly state it as battery only. It is also priced accordingly as the battery only typically sells for about $10 less than the kit. The battery only option is great way to save a little money if you are looking at getting a second battery so you don't need the charger and you don't need an extra 510 to eGo adapter.

When you buy one try to find one with a base..whar I mean is..

This one will leave a gap, and unscrew off the battery inside the ego tank most likely.

This one can be tightened down and the ego tank will meet the metal without a gap.

I don't know why they make the first ones, they're annoying at best.

Here's both on my mvp

Let me guess....you purchased the battery only instead of the full kit? The evod2 clearomizer has an eGo connection. The iStick has a 510 connection. If you purchased the full kit, it includes the charger, micro USB cable, and a 510 to eGo connector. Any 510 to eGo connector will work.

Yes, I just bought the battery. I tried the adapter in store at time of purchase with my evod2 tank and the adapter shorted out my coil.

I noticed that the first adapter is the type sold in the shop, it is was also the style that shorted out my coil. The second style looks similar to the version that comes with the istick 20 kit that I saw

Yes.. I would not use a non-Eleaf adapter myself. They did make the adapter with certain specifications.

I don't know about shorts.... but if it happened, then even more reason to get the correct one, of course. :)
