Does anyone have any knowledge about the Sig v2? I know the istick 50 watt is not out yet but already many reviews on you tube and all seem extremely good. I want a 50 watt and nothing more. I don't like the look of the Ipv. All the other 50 watt box mods I don't like so I narrowed it down to these 2. Any suggestions or information would help. I'm trying to hold off to see the reviews on the eleaf 50 watt but its hard.

Well how important is a swappable battery to you??? You get that with the Sigelei. The iStick does have a 4400mAh on board and stainless steel threading. Two pluses right there. Not sure about the threading on the Sig. And Eleaf have gone the smart route and put the charging port on the side instead of on the bottom like so many others. It has a cool form factor. Not your typical plain box. Can't go wrong with either IMO.

The sigelei 50w v2 is the obvious choice to me. Yeah it's ugly with those wavy lines and bigger form factor, but you're getting an awesome board--yihi sx330--spring loaded 510 connection, solid build quality, solid buttons, replaceable battery, magnetic battery door for easy swapping, etc. It's really not that big and can easily be pocketed as long as you don't put a gigantic tank on it.

The other option to consider is the ipv mini v2 70w which is actually cheaper than the sigelei. The only knock thus far is the build quality--specifically the cap for switching out the battery. Other than that it seems like the best value.

I'd go with the Sig 50 as well. I have an IPV Mini 2 and it performs well but the Sigelei beats it hands down in the fit and finish department.

Thanks I was kind of leaning toward the sig but could not find to many people within this forum with reviews. everyone does seem to like the ipv. I cant handle the shape or look. Should I at least wait and see what the eleaf 50 watt sends out or pull the trigger on a sig 50 watt v2?
That would be your choice. I believe you have been considering this for a while and have a lot of interest in the istick 50. I have 2 ordered from a co-op. I bought a 30w in the meantime and like it so much that I sold my other mods. I got tired of swapping out batteries, carrying extras, etc. And I don't miss the size and weight of those either. The 30 fires a Plume Veil nicely and my Rose. I don't sub ohm on it much but it will perform and battery life is great. I'm excited about the 50's coming and I'm pretty sure that those along with a couple of Delta ll's are gonna satisfy me and make my vaping a lot easier. I also quit diy'ing when I recently found some good premium juice at $12/60ml. I think vaping should be simple, easy and affordable. Now I can spend more time on my bikes. :)

I prefer the ipv2s over all to be honest

PBusardo didn't seem to think too highly of the iPV v2.

Not sure what some people's attraction to replaceable batteries is. Personally, if a device lasts me two years before I move on, it's longer then normal. And so far, I haven't had a single device who's batteries failed me, while I was still using it day to day. In fact, I've been vaping since 2009, and while I've had some batteries fail, I haven't had ANY device with built in batteries have those batteries go bad on me.

The iStick has a 4400 mah battery, which should last well over a full day. It has micro usb charging, so I can always charge it for a short time while in the car, or at the computer, or nearly anywhere, as I have micro USB cables all over the place.

Replaceable batteries also means you need to purchase the batteries separately, which adds to the cost.

I realize everyone's tastes and preferences are different, but for my money, give me a built in, long lasting (high mah) battery any day!

Does anyone have all 3 mods or at least 2 of them for a size comparison? I am trying to figure out myself if I want the iStick 50, the Sigelei 50 VR2 or the IPV Mini 2. Which one is the smallest of the 3? Do either of them have any major advantage that would make it a lot better than the other 2? Or disadvantage?

I have a istick 50 and a sig 50w vr2, while the istick is smaller they both are very pocket-able and exactly what I needed to be able to carry them all day at work. I like the istick a little better due to the smaller size but I like that the battery is removable on the sig. The both have been great for me so far with the subtank mini as well as the kayfun v4 clone. Here is a pic..

The istick is the smallest. I think the ipv is the biggest, but I don't have it anymore.

The ipv and Sigelei use the sx330 chip, which is very accurate, so that's a bit of an advantage.

Thanks you guys, this information was helpful. Although I think the Sig and IPV seem overall better in certain areas, the larger size turns me off a bit. What's the battery life on them? Is battery life on the Sig and IPV based off the mah of the battery you put in it? Sorry I know that's a noob question lol but I want to make sure.
