I have been using the istick basic for a week and it just recently stopped charging. When I plug in the micro-USB, it blinks a couple of times but it doesn't flash red like it says it should in the manual. It only does so when I press the fire button and even then, the red light switches off in 2 or 3 minutes. I have tried different cables and sockets but nothing changes. Is there anything I could do to fix it?

Sounds like a defective charger in the istick. Can you return it for an exchange or refund? At the least, contact the vendor or manufacturer.
I believe I can get a refund since I am within the 30 day period. I will try to contact the seller. Thanks.

One of mine I have to wiggle after inserting the plug to get a connection. The Istick Basic socket is sort of deep and some cords don't go in far enough to connect if that makes sense.
If it connects well when you move the cable up or down, there are fixes for that on the utube.
Good news, guys, I fixed it! I cleaned the magnet with a q-tip and the device is charging normally now. Now I feel bad for leaving the seller 1 star on Amazon...

Glad to hear you fixed it. This istick specifically states:" *Only use Wall Chargers/adapters that have an input of 100-240 V 50HZ-60HZ and an Output of 5V/500 mah. Warning: Do not attempt to modify equipment. Please refer to your manual for further safety instructions."
I would not use any I phone/cell charger with this brand/model. Lots of folks like to push the design envelope when it comes to recommend a charger.
