Eleaf istick connector poll

How is your istick connector?

  • The connector on my istick is fine and works as it should.

  • The threads on my istick were faulty out of the box.

  • The threads on my istick have become sloppy with use.

  • My topper won't fire if it is screwed on snugly, it has to be loose to fire.

  • I don't even have an istick, I just like polls.

No problem with threads.....but.......... I decided from day one to put on the ego adapter and run my T3s's on it. It's been great. I don't even have to unscrew the tank to refill. Just flip over the Istick and remove only the tank section. Refill and install.

Every mod I've owned, the 510 strips out eventually. I love the idea of the stainless steel threading found on the provari so I may install some FDV connectors some day on those other mods.

The only mod that hasn't stripped out threads would be my Drawtube Mech mod which has the 510 threading drilled into the cap itself. No separate connector.

I believe there is also a problem with the grommet or gasket that is beneath the pin it seems mine got a bit smashed ....and . when that happens it wont fire because it see's a short. I never crank it up to tight and the threads are fine but I had to slip a little rubber o ring under the firing pin to keep it isolated. If that grommet is poor quality and starts to break down or tear it may bleed off some of the voltage intended for the atomizer and cause a poor quality vape or it just wont fire. Not a good thing
the pin should be spring loaded

I am having issues,,I have to loosen some tanks or I get an "atomizer low" or "atomizer short" message

Taking the same approach.

Mine does the same thing it's is quite frustrating. The only tank that works is the nautilius mini.

sorry abt the multple posts here...Had the same problem and just want to make sure I get my message thru. I'm sure the pin on these sticks are getting grounded against the body because the grommet is damaged. (Or not a bit shoddy) If u can slip an o-ring under it, or cut a length of o-ring to size and loop it under the pin, it will isolate the positive pin from the negative body and fix that issue.

Yeah, Several people have had that issue. Mostly discussed in the big istick thread.http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ion/601111-eleaf-istick-155.html#post14642279

Mine became "unscrewable" after 1 month. I couldn't even get the 510 connector to screw in.Ebay dealer I purchased from is out of stock, I ordered from another seller and the original seller will exchange if I pay the shipping. Istick #2 is fine so far 2 weeks in. I always use the 510 connector now. My best friends had the same issue around the 3 week mark. The place where she purchased gave her a hard time and someone walked in with the same issue and they pulled all the isticks from the store and gave her an MVP.

Who is the original that will replace? That's good to hear.

Check the eleaf thread. There are some pictures there. I think it's a # 60, You just stretch it over the pin so it fits under and raises the contact point.
