I had a single Aspire Triton SS316 coil given to me some time a go. Tried it in the Melo 3, had more flavor then the Ti Melo coils I tested above.

I haven't tried the Triton SS but have been considering picking some up so if you don't mind, I'm curious... How's it work in TC mode and did you use the .3 or .4?

Is the eleaf Melo 3 really much different than the eleaf Lemo 2 ?

I am not real happy in the design of the Lemo 2 for people that mouth to lung "tootle puff". I think the Lemo 2 is really made more for folks that need lots of airflow.

How about the Melo 3 ... better suited for mouth to lung vapers like myself?

Oh ya .... Does the Melo 3 also come with a rebuildable deck?

It's a .4 ohm. For TC, I created a TCR preset of "0092". Working well.

It does not come with a RBA but you can purchase one from what I'm told it's the Eleaf Melo 2 RBA (ECR head) $3.95 from Sweet-Vapes. If you read the previous posts you can read peeps comments on the airflow.

Thats interesting - I've never tried a Lemo and assumed it was for MTL. As is, the Melo III is for direct lung, but I would think with something like the Triton 1.8 ohm coil and a different drip tip, it would be a good MTL experience with the air flow cut down.

Battery life while not quite chain vaping, but frequently vaping, I got 2 and 1/2 hours at 50 watts. The tank however had to be refilled once. So at 50 watts you can vape 2 tanks on the .3 ohm coil for 2 1/2 hours. Since I only really get to vape on my half hour lunch this will be a decent stealthy pocket mod for my job. If you vape at a lower wattage and less frequently than I do, you can most certainly get more out of your battery. mine was a Sammy 25 R.
Same battery. Chain vaping. Coil read .26 ohm @ 30W & battery last all day & night. I do refill the tank quite a bit.

Ah. Thanks. Would you find those regular triton (non-mini) coils to be MTL compatible?

No problem. That's what they're meant for and the airflow through the center of the coil is much much tighter than a regular Triton or Atlantis coil, but I've never actually tried one even though I have a couple at home.

Well... I got a Melo III (mini) and I'm really disappointed.

Tried eleaf, vaporesso and Aspire coils on it. All 3 fit and work. But the performance is poor. Faint flavour and I had a "slow coil" feeling (if it makes sense).
Just in case I used the same coils on a Vaporesso Tank. I don't like that tank at all, but the performance was correct.
I'm done with the Melo III mini. :(

Anyone try the new SS Ccell .3 ohm coils in this tank? I'm thinking it may be the last hope.

I really can't understand how this tank just seems to kill flavor. Sux, cuz it's a really great tank other than that, lol.

I have not. The only decent vape I got was with a SS Triton coil.
