Not the same at all. Two discrete error messages for two discrete phenomenons.
You have little if any standards on the advice you throw out..

Sure, man. Whatever. It's an error caused by a dirty connection.. fixed by a quick wipe with a t-shirt, paper towel, etc. Although pretty well made, the mod is cheap and not perfect. The 510 has minor issues, but it's a damned sight better than other recent Eleaf/joyetech products.

I know the Pico is just a little over 23mm, but is it possible to use a 23mm or 25mm tank on it? Not sure if the battery cap would be in the way.

I'm looking to pick up a couple single 18650 mods, and right now it's a choice between the Pico, the Wismec Presa 75w, or the IPV D3. I often use 23-25mm tanks, and don't mind a small amount of overhang.

Choices, choices...

BOOM!

I've had my Pico for 6 wks. While reading this thread pulled it out & atomizer short on screen.
Check atty, nothing wrong. Try another, short reading again. Short wipe with t-shirt, fine.
Dirty threads usually read no atomizer.
Another thing to ponder?..
I have had this happen too and usually it is the 510 spring center pin on your PICO getting pushed down and not popping back up. I get it with one of my tanks that seems to have a bit longer 510 connection than my other tanks and RDAs. You can remove the battery and gently pry it up and it should work fine.
That said. I purchased the Pico just because it is a fun looking little stealthy pocket mod. I don't know how it would hold up to everyday daily use. My choice for a daily driver would be the IPVD3S 80 watt. That is what I am ordering for my brother to back up his Cuboid. For me the IPV series with the YIHI chips have been rock solid.

Battery Cap will restrict anything over 22mm and a 23mm may fit but close. IPVD3S is a solid device. It will fit any tank you put on it. Plus has the YIHI chip. Also consider the IPV5 or for more pocket friendly the IPV6 will be out in a couple of weeks. There are other decent pocket friendly mods that will hold up, the Smok R200 and Mini Cube don't get much love but they are surprisingly good too.

Any 23-24mm atty will fit on it. I know the 25mm Aromizer will fit on it as well, I've seen the pics, but I'm not sure about other 25mm atties.

Only get the 'short' reading with nonadjustable attys, subtank nano, t3s,.
In 2014,,bought a Yosen sx300. Definitely changed my thinking on regulateds'. If it has a yihi chipset, I want it..

It seems like 23 and 24 would be a tight fit. None of my 25mm Boreas, Griffin 25 TF RDTA fit but I have other devices for those. I may pick up a Serpent Mini, a Bachelor Nano or Augvape's new Merlin to put on the Pico just for grins. It does run my RDAs pretty good but again I would not pick it as my only device.

Then I would definitely attempt to raise the 510 center pin just a tad as it sounds like those tanks are not getting a good connection. One of your other attys may have pushed it down and the spring loaded 510 is not that springy and or some of those tanks may be pushing it down too far and causing a short.
If you like YIHI the new IPV6 coming out may be in your Wheelhouse. Pocket friendly 2 battery device same style as Sigelei 213 but looks to have all the functions of the IPV5.

For long term reliability i wouldn't touch anything by Eleaf , Joytech or Kangertech . I would get one of the all aluminum mods like the older Sigelei's or mods with a YiHi or Evolv chipset.

I am still using the ones i got years ago and they are as reliable as reliable gets. A lot of the new stuff to me are throw aways and not built for the long term.
I agree stay away from eleaf. I bought a mini and can't get a decent drag from it.
