Hmm. How quickly do car lighters come up to temp? They have 12v, but I think their 'element' is a more standard metal, no?

Interesting idea though..any deposits seem unlikely to be able to break the connection there, although cleaning may be difficult.

Like a 'super-atty'..on it's end..no?

The price of a physically bigger coil is slower heating up and more power usage. A car cig lighter is way too slow; the portable lighter might be suitable; but no real thoughts as to whether it might be worth pursuing. Some new idea might come out of experimenting with it ...

I've often thought that the nichrome wire could take on a different shape; perhaps flatter to the juice droplet path. More like a disc than a cylinder. This at least is worth thinking about.

This Is perfect for modding. Take out the cig lighter. Add acouple wires for Your addy adapter, ditch the AAA for 3.6 volt ecigar batts. Your done. Thanks for This posting. Im still looking for a atty adapter for the 510 grrr.

Though a small juice buffer in the form of a coil wick is perhaps useful; so purhaps like a flattened coil.

wouldn't it burn too hot for e liquid? I think i remember PG can only be heated to a certain temp before it mutates into a dangerous chemical

VG can supposedly turn into acrolein if it gets too hot, IIRC.

i really want to see some pics of someone who mods this to me looks just like a 510 atty with out the wick but u can go to walmart and get the metal wick in the camping section its the same material u use for a lantern seems like this maybe a really easy mod but then again who knows what the hell im talking about
