Electric Magnetic Stirrer vs Steeping???

I have and electric magnetic stirrer I use when mixing my juices I probably have it mix my new juices for 15 to 20 minutes. I do not use hot water baths and I was wondering would the stirrer take place of hot water baths? Any feedback on use of electric stirrer is welcome. Thanks.

can you tell us a little more as to what the ES does, i.e. rpms, timer etc.

I would place a shallow plastic container much wider than your bottle on your stir plate and fill it with hot water then place your beaker in that. Get the best of both worlds. I've used them in a laboratory environment, can't get by without them.

Build one yourselves if you don't want to buy one.

Edit: you want your stir speed to be from 100-1000 RPM, CPU fans can go faster, variable voltage will fix it.

It's a Hanna stirrer, variable speed max rpm's = 1000, this is the speed I use, the max and let it stir my new juice for about 15 to 20 minutes. $86 at Amazon

i was thinking of this as well, how does it work does it taste ok right after or does it still need to sit a while?

We used mag-stirs in the lab, it's the only way to go. That being said, you can only put one bottle on the plate at a time, an ultra sonic parts washer can fit a bunch.

I haven't used this method in DIY so couldn't speak intelligently about extra steeping time. But as far as mixing chemicals needing a homogeneous consistency mixture prior to analysis, it pays the bills.

I still let the juices sit a while. I was inquiring as to if the stirrer replaced the warm bath. After I let my juices sit they do taste great. I don't vape new juice immediately though.
