It would be nice if they also mentioned that PG is used as the suspension fluid for asthma meds for nebulizers and for meds used for lung transplant patients to inhale. It seems to me that if they have approved it for people with lung problems to inhale it ought to be easy to deem it safe for the rest of us. And that OSHA and the stagehands guilds have done testing to make sure it is safe for people who work in productions that have heavy prolonged use of fog machines to be exposed to it on a daily basis in much larger quantities than we will inhale even if, like me, you vape pretty steadily all day long.

PG has antibacterial/antiviral properties. TropicalBob has provided good information on this in other posts here.

Yes in the 50's the US Military tested PG as a solution for hospitals since they found it SAFE TO INHALE that it could be vaporized into the air in hospitals to kill germs that may be found. They found it to cost prohibitive and went with UV lighting instead.

Nice to know our government already knows PG is safe to inhale...

The government knows a lot more that could save people but deliberately withhold the information.

Too "tax reducing" prohibitive.

And NO pretty florescent green coloring either!

Bummer. :(

Spikey has a lot of info about the tests run on PG on her website vaporsclub.com and I hunted around the net for as much other info as I could find. Unfortunately I didn't bookmark anything but that site because the info was put together in a way that was easy to access and read off the friends and family that were worried about "what's in that stuff."
