Just hold it in longer, so you dont blow out any vapor, easy. Once Bloog gets some of their menthol liquid into bottles, I will buy enough to last me long enough to get off nicotine for good, so hopefully internet sales does not get banned before then... ;)

Not to be rude, but that's why we're losing all of our liberties. If you only care about liberties lost if and when they affect you, then we're going to keep losing more and more of them.

yeah did you see one of the follow up articles? they are getting closer to banning e-cigs in ny. saying its easier for a kid to get an e-cig over an analog.

The hypocrisy and idiocy around this issue drives me nuts! I agree with this quote from the NY article:

"Why do politicians and organizations that claim to be protecting public health want to take away options that could save smokers' lives?"

We need to understand that public "perception" is very powerful, and unless/until it can be proven scientifically that the exhaled vapor has zero harm, people will object. Even if it was proven to have no harm, there will be those who'll object simply because anything that "looks" like smoking, IS smoking (to them).

We need to support studies like the IVAQS study being done, that could show that there's no harm in 2nd hand vapor, and we need to find a formal way to collect data from those of us who have quit smoking entirely using e-cigs, so that they can be promoted as a quit smoking device with a high rate of success!

My concern is that no matter what studies are done, or how harmless e-cigs are proven to be, the tobacco (Big Tobacco) and pharmaceutical (Big Pharma) industries will do everything they can to eliminate e-cigs. Both industries see e-cigs as a competitive product that will deprive them of sales. And both have very powerful lobbyists.

I am a believer that there is such a thing as second hand vaping... I cannot imagine how one would think there isn't. IMHO anyways.

Newme, I take no offense to what you are saying, and I agree to a degree, but if I have no proof that these are not harmful to those around me, I will not argue the point. I know if I was never a smoker, was a super health nut, etc... I would not want someone vaping around me, so I respect others as I would want to be respected. When out in public I would go off into the middle of no where to have a smoke, and would not smoke around those that were not, out of respect, etc..

Will this ban there presence entirely? Or are you still allowed to take an E-cig on in your 1 carry on piece of luggage? Or is it like knives they just don't let you take it on at all? If its the latter that would be a really big disappointment, because what choice do you have then if your forced to store it with your luggage when you get of the plane at your connecting flight and your waiting having a drink or something?

I would think (and hope) it would be like cigarettes. You can take them on the plane, you just can't smoke/vape them on the plane. At least until someone uses an e-cig as a weapon.....
