Dealing with problems that were liquid oriented were easy enough. We ARE the manufacturer of our liquid products.

But now that we're dealing with electronics, we find we're accruing a lot of cost as the result of faulty electronics. Parts and kits that we offer CONSIDERABLY less than you'll find anywhere else.

While we offer no guarantee on these items, we have a BARRAGE of customers who are running across DOA batteries and atomizers.

It's easy enough to deal with batteries, but it gets a little more difficult with atomizers.

What it boils down to is we may have to guarantee our product to a certain degree. In order to do that, we'll have to raise the prices of our electronics to defray all of the costs that we're incurring as the result of shuffling replacements, shipping costs and costs returning items back to the manufacturer.

The only other option is discontinuing to carrying electronics altogether. Honestly, I'd rather just stop selling the stuff honestly, because is was so much more simple NOT dealing with getting the blame for faulty electronics crap.

But I'm open to ideas, suggestions, etc.

I had my mother order a 510 kit from you this weekend. At the price you have.. as long as half the stuff is not DOA its still a good price. You make it very clear its knock off stuff and NO GUARANTEE. I do not see how anyone could have a problem if something does not work. It's a chance people should be willing to take for the price.

Maybe you could test the stuff before it goes out.. Still would add to item costs however.

Well I see the added expenses especially with the manufacturer not sending quality items. All that return shipping hurts. I say keep the product you have the best quality from and raise the price. Nah get rid of the hardware and stick with the Juice to much work on your part with electronics. Maybe carry bottles of different sizes cartomizers, cartridges things that don't break. You don't want screwed up manufacturers tainting your fantastic Juiceline. So you can go back to 100% Juice creations! I'd rather get some awesome new flavors than something that's a dime a dozen. You can find electronics anywhere but a artisan Juice is hard to come by :p

I worked for a company for 10 years. We were very good at what we did, our clients were happy. The last 2-3 years we started to branch out into related markets and we failed miserably because it wasn't our core competency. We lost our new clients, word spread, and we lost our existing clients and closed.

IMO, I say stick with what you do best.

However, if you choose to continue to sell hardware, be as picky with your hardware as you are with your juices and promote customer service. People are willing to pay more for a quality product that is supported by the vendor. This approach will build on your already good reputation as a quality vendor.

I would have to agree with Markimar.
Do what you do best, Electronics are a dime a dozen. It is nice to have everything I need on one site, but not a deal breaker by any means. Your juice is what keeps your customers coming and repeat business. I don't see your numbers but from what I see on this side of the fence your growing nicely. :) and you don't need the heartaches of kmart electronics.

I agree, I've spent more money at TV than any other e-cig related store and possibly than at all other e-cig stores combined and have yet to buy any electronics from TV. I come back for the great juice.

Hey there Geoff!

I have received 4 atomizers from your site and they worked ok. But why not sell the actual Joye products? You do not have to sell them super cheap, just fair. I think you would have a lot more happy customers and you could stop the influx of DOA problems. I am not saying that the Joye products will end your problems, but I would guess they would minimize them. I know right now the best price I can find on Authentic Joye 510 Atomizers is $6.99 each and $5.99 each on special. If I buy 10 on special I pay $5.29 each. If you could sell them for $6.00 each, you would sell a ton of them and your customers would be much happier paying $6.00 for a Joye atomizer than $4.00 for a "not sure if it is going to work" atomizer. This is just my 2 cents though. I just see you as a quality driven person, so I thought maybe you would want to raise the price a little and give everyone a (at least mostly) quality product. I cannot speak for everyone, but if you sold Joye products for a higher price, I think you would see a lot less returns.

In Conclusion: If any of the electronics business interferes with getting more flavors made (especially the WAFFLE) than dump the electronics and mix up some more flavors for us!! We LOVE YOUR JUICE and THE JUICE MUST COME FIRST!!

Sincerely,
Chainvapor

Huh. I was going to say I agree with everyone else, do what you're known for, your juice, and forget the hardware. Then I went to your site and see a notice saying you're getting out of the hardware business. I think it's a smart move.

Ditto, ditto, ditto...what everyone else said.

I think I've actually heard enough. Ignore the price hike. Once we're out of our electronics.....We're DONE.

Back to making the best damned liquids on the planet. We need to concentrate on beefing up our menu anyway.

We love you guys too, this is why we can't continue to represent our company's interest by offering this chinese crap that 30% of, just doesn't work. That's not representative of Tasty Vapor.

We're tired of answering for the malfunction of crap we didn't manufacture. We're happy as hell fixing problems concerning liquid because that's what we do, that's what we do best. Our problems would be cut by 2/3 if we just STOPPED dealing with the electronics.

So...no more. Once they're gone, Buh-Bye!

Congrats! That has to be a huge burden off your shoulders. Just keep doing what you do best and we will continue to love you!

Looking forward to your Waffles and many more new TV creations.
