Hi, I have been happily smoke free for at least 12 months and since I have discovered vaping I want to help my family and friends kick the habit also. So my mission is to find a setup that I like so I can recommend it to others. I have so far tried the ego T system which is good until it leaks. More recently I have purchased an ego Twist and Smoktech tank system which is great so now I need a good eliquid, I only have 0 nic eliquid. In Australia we can only get nicotine eliquid if imported for personal use so I have ordered a Volt kit from Smokeless Image and a few eliquid samplers and a couple of 12mg popular flavours. A friend of mine let me try some of her medium strength nic eliquid and I find it quite harsh on the throat but the fruity aftertaste is very nice. Is it because I dont smoke anymore or are all nicotine eliquids this harsh?

ego batterys with a clearomizer or mini vivi nova tank are the best imo. show them how to replace the vivi head and clean ... 5 mins and their pros.
smaller ecigs didnt do it for me, and was a waste of money. Nothing smaller then a ego battery imo.

a regular person switching to ecigs 12mg ejuice should be plenty of nic for them. 18mg was too much for me at first, and had to wait for 12mg juice to come and work my way up.

Not all eliquids are of the same intensity in 'harshness'. You can try juices with higher VG content or maybe those with lower nic concentration. I'm sure you'll find the correct mix and flavor which will hit your sweet spot.

Great that you've bought an ego twist, a nice vv device to start with. You can try getting vision stardust or vivi nova mini too to match your twist, less hassle/leaks. Very easy usage for new vapers.

PG: more TH, less vapour, more flavour
VG: Less TH, more vapour, muted flavour
Nicotine: TH (and obviously higher nic content)

Not all flavours are the same, cinnamons and (personally) colas hit a bit harder than, say, a melon or cheesecake.

Also, above and beyond this, higher temperatures (from higher voltage/wattage) produce a warmer vapour, which helps with both vapour production and TH. The voltage "required" depends on the resistance of the attachment you're using, but VV is a whole new ball game. The simple version is: Higher resistance needs higher voltage, lower resistance requires less voltage.

Clearomizer is next on my shopping list to replace my leaky tank system =) and I have heard a lot of good things about the vivi nova tanks so will look into those also thanks.

I have a USA eliquid that I really enjoyed in the ego T and now I have tried it in the ego twist I cant stand it, it has really brought out the true flavors lol even when I try it in the ego T again I still cant stand it anymore, strange how it changed my taste receptors lol

I tried a melon and it was a nice melon flavor but with an initial harsh dirty ashtray flavor (not that Ive tasted one lately but thats what comes to mind) lol, same with the other flavors I tried. Im hoping it was just that particular juice manufacturer or PG %

It could be a fresh cart not having time to saturate fully, atomizer primer, wicking issue etc. If they KEEP tasting like that then I'd figure it's the juice vendor, any of the fruits I've tried have been quite mild.
