eLiquid causing headaches!

Hey Guys,

I recently bought a new ecig (joyetech eroll-c) and got a bottle of menthol liquid with it which I loved and the ecig performance was spectacular!
Traditionally I had used a Halo G6 and there liquids.

Now I've run out of poor menthol and going back to Halo liquids I've noticed that they instantly give me a headache even smoking a light 6mg nicotine bottle of Tribeca!

Could it be the blend and does anyone have these headaches with Halo or another brand?

Maybe some artificial ingredients in some of the liquids? Do you tolerate artificial sweeteners ok?

Maybe you have found your first allergy? I dunno. Virtually none of the ejuice companies will really list all the ingredients in their ejuice. Some claim to but in their list they just say something like natural and artificial flavors....

Have you thought of mixing your own? I started about six months ago and won't be looking back to buying other;s blends. It was far easier than I thought and a little nerve wracking the first time. But I am glad I did. I had no bad effects, I bought Heather's Heavenly Vapes and had no health issues at all. I switched due to price,

Allergies can happen at any time but I would tend to believe it is just a coincidence. Hope so and the headaches go away. Not fun at all.

I get those from too much nicotine it's the first "sign" for me.

and there's some liquids (menthol one of them..I was a menthol smoker and soon after a couple weeks vaping I couldn't tolerate it anymore) same deal..so eliminated menthol and it was all good.

Op, you did not specify the Nic level of the Menthol you have become used to vaping.

eroll-C uses a tiny Tank
G6 looks like a Poly Cartridge

I made a Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Cucumber concoction that gave me a Horrible Head ache and destroyed my stomach. Had to throw that one away! Couldn't vape it at all! Gives me a head ache just thinking about it now.

OP, it happens. Maybe your nic. level is too strong? do you sweat and feel out of breath when you have these headaches?

I've never had any allergies to anything in my life either - until I got into my 40's. And now I'm allergic to a lot of things including household dust, all sorts of grass and tree pollens, a couple of medications and PG. You can't speak about allergies in terms of absolutes - that's not how they work.

Halo liquids use a fairly high amount of PG - although Halo won't tell you exactly how much because keeping that some kind of super secret is supposed to make them somehow special. People guesstimate it's at least 40% PG and possibly higher. So all I can tell you is to look at how much PG is in your non problematic liquids. If the "good" ones contain low or no amount of PG but only the Halo stuff is giving you headaches there is a possibility you are having an adverse/allergic reaction to a liquid that contains a high amount of PG.

the trouble with those cigalike sized things is it's a delicate balance of
- electric power (battery voltage)
- airflow
- eliquid mix

and there's a lot of plastics involved;
I don't think eroll has a wick? or if it does I dunno where it is.

There's an eroll forum around here somewhere though.

Im currently using 12mg as I found 18mg way too high!

I have a few bottles of 6ml which I smoke at home during the day if I feel like 12mg is too much.

I've also switched to a 6mg Halo Turkish Tobacco which seems a lot lighter and doesn't seem to give me headaches. But I think it could be overvaping and too much nicotine.
