hi again,
i'm not sure what to do.
i've only been vaping with ejuice for 2 days and i have already gone through quite a lot of 18ml strength.
i have basically been chain vaping it because im not really getting a good enough TK.
i'm using ce4 clearomizers and i worked out quite quickly that i could improve the TK by taking long, slow draws. but still not getting a good enough TK hence chain vaping it.
also, when i do put it down, cravings return only a few minutes later so its straight back to it. (ex 30-40 a day roll-up smoker)
today i have got some 24mg ejuice and it really is way too much for me lol
after just a few goes on it i had to put it down and didnt want to pick it up again for half an hour. it didnt make me feel sick or anything but i knew instantly it was very strong. a better hit on the back of the throat. just right infact.
i think its a good thing the 24mg makes me want to put it down but no doubt i will eventually build up a tolerance and all i am doing then is increasing the addiction to nicotine.
i dont really like having to be vaping constantly either.
any ideas for me plz?

Juice Components
Flavoring usually about 15%
PG enhances flavor, TH and lung hit- water like
VG= vapor and can mute flavor- thick
Nicotine- TH, lung hit and our need for nicotine. The MOST important ingredient in regards to TH and lung hit.
Standards in the industry are 80/ 20 or 70/ 30 PG/ VG. I vape 70/ 30 PG/ VG.

What PG/ VG ratio are you vaping and are both the 18 and 24 mg the same flavor and from the same vendor?

I smoked 12-15 lights a day, and now vape 24mg. I likely increased my nicotine intake, but am I smoking anymore? Nope.

The inhale process for an e-cigarette is different. Try this:
slow long inhale to the mouth (4-5sec)
hold for a sec or two, then inhale to lungs and exhale through the nose slowly.
This gives the body a lot more time to absorb the nicotine. Try that with the 18mg nicotine and you might not have to have it stuck to your lips all day long. If you have to use 24mg nic liquid, its not the end of the world. Nicotine by itself is a mild upper. It lacks 99.9% of the negative health risks that were in our old cigarettes.

thanks for your thoughts on that.
i didn't want to go up to 24mg (all the juice i have is 100% PG) because my intention was to gradually decrease the nicotine strength. probably starting in about a month, maybe two.
i like the idea of mixing an 18 and a 24 to get 21mg so i'll give that a go and see what thats like.
i dont have the same flavours but blueberry and butterscotch just might make something tasty :)
i'll post how it goes in a little while.
thanks again.

hey hoosier, N1
i mixed 18mg and 24mg (both same vendor) and it may only have been an hour or so ago but already i feel like i need to vape at the same rate/frequency that i used to need to smoke. still good enough tk too.
PV's are great at mimicking smoking cigarettes and for most i would think thats why its so successful. but chain vaping or only vaping every half hour wasnt like normal to me.
so i am more than happy now.
i didnt want to get used to 24 because of the added time it would take to decrease, 21 i can live with.
i couldnt stop smoking because i wanted to do it. i remember wishing it was safe and there was no risk involved, but its not like that.
VP's give me that. i know i wont stop vaping - ever, but imagine vaping 0% juice - my dream come true - 'The Harmless Cigarette'
hope that doesnt start a row :)
i read a post about someone (sry dont remember who the author was right now and im using a crappy chinese tablet so wont risk losing this by leaving the page) who had a collapsed lung, generally awful health from the sounds of it and managed to quit through vaping.
that is truly amazing (i was going the same way btw) and is a real testament to the power of vaping and how vaping CAN and most importantly WILL save lives !
and over here in the UK millions of pounds saved by the NHS through not treating smoking related diseases.
that is the true reason behind the big push over here in the promotion of stopping smoking.
easiest way to stop is don't start.
sry about the little rave, again, its getting abit late in the uk, again, i'm getting a bit drunk :) which is not the norm for me btw.

... Try this:

I just tried that with my 24mg and coughed like a 12 year old behind the barn! Wow! Well, I skipped the exhale slowly part, it was coming out NOW! But I sure got a nicotine rush, or maybe it was just my BP going up. I couldn't tell because I was also trying to laugh.

OK, I know that could sound like I am being critical, and that really is not what I meant. I had already come to the conclusion that 24mg is too much for me, so why did I try it? I DON'T KNOW!!! But I did get a good laugh out of it, after I could breath again.

Edited because I just remembered that perhaps the coughing came from the VG since I have a 70/30 mix.
