Elvt and kanger subtank mini?

Hey everyone I have a wellec elvt 2.0 and wanted to go out and get a new tank got the the kanger subtank mini the store owner said that the tank will only work if I use the 1.2 ohm coil not the 0.5 ohm that is standard. Anyways I've tried both coils and neither one will work I get a red light and an amperage reading on the battery. Has anyone else had this problem? Or any suggestions to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The User manual for the ELVT 2.0 (made by Dovpo) says it will fire down to .3 ohms. So both coils for the subtank should work on it. I have personally seen an Aspire Atlantis tank with a .5ohm coil fire on this device. Have you tried taking back to the seller? There may be some type of defect where it reads resistance too low. Hope this helps!
