I have two box mods, Riva bats, and eGo USB bats. Lately I've been using the eGo the most.

It really just boils down to your personal preference. Box mod can fit entirely in your hand and is good for stealth vaping, and the on/off switch is great. The problem I had with one of my box mods was I dropped it and the little plastic latch that holds the battery compartment closed broke off, so now it doesn't stay closed. The eGo USB battery I like because I can use it as a passthrough on my computer, then just disconnect the mini-USB cable and screw the top back on, and I have a fully charged eGo battery to take with me when I'm out. Never have to worry about juggling uncharged bats.

Also, word of advice...be very careful not to overtighten cartomizers when using madvapes' 510->901/808-D adapter. You can also adjust the height of the connector with a small screwdriver for better airflow, there's a youtube video on here for it.

Thanks everyone again.

If I stick to vaporing, my next step would be one of the bottom feed Ali'i mods.

I'm 6 weeks into vapor and didn't completely got off analogs yet (still smoke 3-5 per day).

I really like pics and reviews of Ali'i mods but mentally not ready yet to spend this kind of money on hardware alone. By the way, do Ali'i mods have on/off switch?

Eventually, once I will go completely smoke free and know what I'm doing, I will get one of Ali'i mods.
Than one of simple 25bucks mods will serve as backup and device for field trips.

You tell us.

Today got my 2AA 3.7V BoxMod from MadVapes.

I think It's great.
Looks much better than I expected - not creepy at all. It's actually black, not brownish.
Has better kick: more vapor and better taste, comparing to 808D-1.

Can't tell much about battery life yet - will update after couple of days.

Still can't tell if BoxMod better/worse comparing to EM Riva, but I like it.

That box mod is how I quit analogs completely. My 510 and my 801 weren't enough, but once I got my box mod I quit analogs completely so best of luck in your journey.

Thanks,
as a matter of fact, since I've got my mod box, I haven't touched analog yet and don't have such desire. Hope it stays that way.

I couldn't make this move with 808 for about 6 weeks. Box Mod rocks!

I think it's great device for non-appearance use.
I wouldn't recommend taking it to Carnegie Hall or for first date, but for everyday use - just super.

One 14500 3.6V 900mAh battery lasts me 6-7 hours first part of the day and 8-9 hours second part of the day.

Comparing to 808, producing better vapor and better taste.

Well that depends on the user. Most 14500's are actually about 700mAh, tops. At the rate I vape at work about 3-4 hours of good vaping. That's about 2ml with a Joye 510.
