EM901 and DSE901 parts are not interchangeable. You can not put an EM901 atomizer on the DSE 901 battery. The DSE901 battery has a male connection end, which show the threads. On the EM901 battery is the female end, which does not show the threads. Hope that help.
Balldope, why don't you stick with the DSE901, it has proven with many users here on this board. You can't go wrong with the DSE901.
ok, i think i saw what you are talking about. i saw a post from a vendor(i will not say who) , that as far as i know, NEVER carried em-901's , but said they are discontinued due to issues, which I or anyone else as far as i know, has seen anything about these issues including the mfr. which apparently did NOT discontinue them, since he is currently selling them on his site eastmall. please find me one post of a CUSTOMER that said their em-901 overheated. this seems to me like plain and simple dirty competitor bashing...unfortuantely seems to be working. of course there could be something i missed or do not know , which is why i use words like seems and apparently, and am not naming the vendor..... but as of right now, they are for sale on eastmall.com, and david yang(the mfr) has stated on the forums recently that he is in the process of getting more stock and accesories for it. BTW, i beleive in that same post, that vendor claimed he had a "newer, better" 901 for you....
I am a customer not a vendor and just told you mine has overheated to the point of making real smoke...I didn't complain about it, because if you're careful and keep it juiced and unscrew it before it starts burning your hand, it's not a big deal (and vapes really well)..![]()
If you are having issues with an overheating atomizer, make sure you are only smoking PG and NO VG as VG can become toxic if too hot. I do not know a lot about this, but have read other posts regarding this issue in the health section of this forum..

the units that are considered the best vaporizers on the market like the 510 and the 401 have all been known to burn people. this means you are smoking it too much, not that there is something wrong with it. the hottest units provide the most vapor. unless it overheated while you werent using it, i wouldnt blame the unit.unless you can clarify this, it just dosnt make any sense to me. would be like saying a frying pan is defective because you touched it when it was hot, and it burned you. if you vape any unit too much too fast, it will overheat, and burn itself out.
