Ya I just made a huge juice purchase and decided to try the EMDCC for my Joye ego Type B worked great last night. When I went to go vape my Mt Dew Code Red I wasnt getting vapor or anything. I even added juice, not to much but lil leaked out. But I heard some of these need lil tweakin till you figure them out. When it worked right last night I fell in love it makes the flavor "pop" lol, it just tastes better. Lil help would be great thaanks

Have you checked to see if there's any joose on the batt contact? Early on, I've found that when the vapor fell off, it was the batt needing a charge, low on joose or there was joose on the batt contact.

After filling the carto, gently blow out the center tube before vaping.

Been using eMDCCs for seven months and still use 'em, even while having some nice tanks. I luv 'em!

Please keep us posted as to how your doing.

You may need to adjust the battery contact or the cartomizer contacts. Get a small screwdriver and gently lift the battery button up slightly. You could try the same thing with the cartomizer using an unbent paper clip.

If you aren't getting anything at all that could be the problem.

Adjusted the battery side of the cartomizer and it didn't work at all

Not the battery button. It's the center (positive) post. I've heard of people having a problem with making contact on the center post. Also, the "skirt" of the EMDCCs can be too long. I've had to "shave" the skirt with a file to be able to get the connector completely seated.

Check the depth of the EMDCC with a toothpick. Insert the toothpick along the inside wall of the skirt. Mark the brim of the EMDCC with your fingernail. With your fingernail stationary on the toothpick, set the tip of the toothpick on the shoulder of your PV where the cone threads stop. If your fingernail is higher than the top of the connector, the skirt is too long.

Did you get the battery from there as well? Since many people have a problem with this, you'd think MV would rectify this.

Edit: I see you didn't get the battery from there. With my MV battery (which was crap) I had the problem Dougiestyle posted about.

With other ego batteries, adjusting either the carto or the battery seemed to help.

I find that the first time you fill the EMDCC you need to let it set awhile for the juice to permeate the polyfill. Try putting in 3ml & let it soak in. Use a syringe & push it down the side of the tank. I then slowly squeeze the syringe & work up the tank in a spiral pattern. this will evenly distribute the juice. You will get little or no runoff.
Add another ml later & let it sit. I noticed this makes a big difference. I just filled a new one yesterday & all I got right away was a dry vape. Today it is working fine.
