I mainly use RTA's/RBA's with one or two battery box mods. Even though I always carry extra 18650 batteries, a wicked coil and some juice I still have an in case of emergency backup. The backup is an empty toptank with rba piece already wicked along with the Kanger subvod mega battery and I try to remember to charge the subvod battery monthly.

Recently I have been seeing disposable subohm tanks advertised and I thought that would be better to carry in case of emergency. I even saw a video where try as they might they could not break one. I was on efun.top and saw the Geekvape Lumi disposable tank on special for 2.99 so I bought one.

Has anyone used these? What do you think?

You asked what we think. This is what I think...

If you primarily use RTAs and RDAs it means you prefer them over your backup.

I would rather own two of my favourite things than one and one I don't like as much.

As far as reliability goes, I would rather have extra wire and cotton and wick my own RDA than rely on a shoddy drop in coil. What happens if you're relying on this back up but the coil is hoop-a-jooped? You just got your lunch eaten. It takes ~3 minutes to wind a coil and wick it.

Well, look. I bring a "Tool Kit" to work every day. An old extra large ego carry case with everything I need to replace a coil and rewick them.

But I don't have that with me anywhere else I go.
I do normally remember to bring eliquid when I go some place.

Ack!! Glass tank just shattered!!!!

Ah!! in the glove box I have a 3 pack of disposable tanks... I'm good!

Truthfully, I do not like the idea of throw aways, but they do have their place.
These are .2 ohms, hold 3ml. A little low for my taste, but...

And while at this moment, I do not (yet) have a pack of tanks in the glove box, I have set the SO up with one. If she is fine using it, I'm covered. 45 days and no complaints and still on the 1st tank.

I've bought a pack of something called Sikary Vapor NuNu Disposable Sub-Ohm Tanks to use as backups for my normal work tanks. Mesh coils and cheaper than coils for the Shield tanks. I'm vaping on one I pulled out of the pack and it is more than acceptable. I plan on putting one in a pill bottle along with a tiny 50 watt mod & battery in my emergency kit. Falling back to this appeals to me more than the tiny Esmart clearos and an EGO that I used to carry.

I think for some it's a nice option. Try a new draw style or just to see if you want to invest in vaping for the long haul. And of course for cheap backups or travel. I just don't feel the need for one; have a build kit that stays with the car and always have wick and juice in my purse.

Personally, I always have 7-11s,Walgreens and RaceTrac gas stations close by.

YMMV. :D
I have them too - they seem to be on every corner. In my neck of the woods you can get liquids at 7-11 that I am not fond of and maybe a Vuse or Mark 10. Walgreens usually has blu but I have not checked their supply lately. In past years when I ran out of liquid (that does not happen anymore), I even bought a disposable Blu at Walgreens.

@canadian_vaper I have never used Blu pod battery and juice. That's a good idea as well. They charge quickly and I always carry a power pack with me
