I came to work armed with my Reo, ready for a 28 hour shift, and shortly after arriving my microcoil popped. No problem, I had a little bit of 28 ga Kanthal with me, so I wrapped a little coil and put it in the Reo2. But when I opened my wallet to pull out my cotton (and I ALWAYS carry a little cotton with me in my wallet), there was NO COTTON! In looking around, the only thing I could find that seemed halfway suitable was Kleenex, so I cut a little strip, rolled it up, popped it into the coil, and have been happily vaping away since. It was white 'organic' Kleenex (no dyes or perfumes) and it doesn't seem to have any taste to it, and it wicks pretty well. Anyway, if you find yourself in a bind, tissue seems to be a reasonable emergency option for makeshift wicks...

Lol, if you were a woman, you could have asked a female coworker for a Tampax! That's what I'd have done,:laugh:. Don't know if I'd use tissue, though. Hmm, I'd probably be so desperate, I'd cut a corner off my undershirt or underwear before thinking of the tissue trick.

Bites tongue...

I found myself without cotton at the start of a work day, couldn't find anything suitable to use as a wick. So, i spent the day squonking right onto the micro coil! Granted, I had to squonk after every hit and spent the day fearing the inevitable dry hit, but it worked. Since then I haven't been without cotton.
Of course now i realize i don't have any kanthal with me...no popping coil please!

Belly button lint could work.

eew.gif Of course, I suppose it wouldn't be too bad if it were your own. But what about the folks with "outies"?
