Emoticons....?

I have seen members use emoticons that are not on the sites list, how is this achieved? I assume they have a library saved on their PC from another emote program, if so how are they able to post in the thread reply section?

I inquire as I have a few emotes I would like to use....all in good taste mind you!.....TIA!

There are a couple ways.

If they are emotes that you have on your computer, you need to upload them to an image host (like photobucket or imgur, etc) and then you can hotlink the image in your posts

The more common method is to use an existing library of smileys on the web. There are many sites out there that host them and give you the BBcode for embedding them.
