Mixed up my first DIY; 3ml of LA Peach (10%) with 60/40 to 15mg. Not bad at all! Gonna boost the next mix to 15% peach, maybe a drop of PA sweetner and boost the nic to 18mg (my normal level).

Day-um, I now foresee my premix dollars going for DIY.

That's great! Peach is a good one to play with. I made too much peach, starting getting a little tired of it and added some Bavarian Creme to some and Brandy in a different bottle- they were all nice enough to repeat in the future.

DIY can be a lot of fun.

I usually add PA Peach to some Lorann's Lemonade. IME the PA sweetener is not very sweet at all. It takes quite a bit before it's noticeable.

Even the "High Concentration"? What about EZ-Sweetz? I have a bit of that also.

I wasn't aware of a "high concentration" version. I only tried it in a view mixes and didn't really notice a change in sweetness. I also mixed it at 10% with nothing but PG and couldn't tell much of a difference either. I gave up on it at that point. I might add some Ehtyl Maltol crystals to my next order and experiment with those.

I usually buy from onestopdiyshop but the shipping is high if you aren't getting a bunch- post in the Where can I get thread to see if anyone knows who has low shipping and a decent price on just a few flavorings.I would check, but typing on my tiny phone! Arrgh, tiny buttons!

EZ-Sweetz is much more concentrated than PA sweetener. I think 1 drop per 2mL is about the most you'd want to use.

If you get a noticeable artificial sweetener taste, try letting it set for a few days. Sometimes it goes away.

I prefer Capella's Amaretto to PA's Almond Amaretto. The PA seems to have a bitterness to it that I can't quite overcome in my mixes.

Ya posted just in time! Was about to order the PA. I have some Almond premix that has some bitterness that is quite unpleasant.

I had some pre-mix with the bitterness to it - when I used the PA I recognized it immediately. I still tried to get past it though; never did.

Well, I'm very pleased with da peach!

Moved on to a pleasing full flavored TPA coconut recipe... bummer. I'm up to 20% flav and just no joy. Started at 10%, then 12, then 15, now 20. I'll give it a 25% shot and if that doesn't do it, I'll shelve it for a while and move on to strawberry.

Is there a complimentary flav to enhance da coconut? Oh day-um, just though of "Put da lime in da coconut...". That's gonna loiter in my brain all night now...
