I have just received my stainless t tips and have the 901/510 version.
When connected to my SD MKII i found that when i put it down on its side the tip would touch the surface which it does not when the original 901 mouthpiece is connected. This is ok at home but when I am out I would rather it didnt due to unclean surfaces etc.
Any how i have recently purchased some SBL stamped DSE901 attys. These attys have 2 rubber caps on the cart end, a black outer one and then a clear silicon one.
I have just tried it and the black outer cap fits over the end of my T Tip a treat, just tight enough not to fall off but not too tight its a pain to remove.
Just thought I would share in case its of any use to someone else.
