Hey I'm on my second mod now. I just made one simliar to the magnum. I was using the energizer Ni-mh rechargeables but its not enough volts. I needed something to test with so I bought 2 energizer cr2 two-packs. They have been working great at 6 volts even though I don't think my atty will last long. I was wondering if they are safe? I don't have and will not have any shorts in my mod since all connections are covered in hot glue and I've been doing things similar to this for a while plus I'm not stupid enough to recharge them. Those were the only warnings on the mod battery use page. It says you can use Li-mn batteries and they do not need protection. However it also says that using small batteries in series is likely to cause problems. I have some ultrafire 18500 rechargeable protected 3.7v coming in the mail but I want to know if these will work for now. They have worked fine for 2 days but after I read this I stopped for obvious reasons. Any help?
