English Toffee * Coconut Mystery

I just got my second V4L order, yay! But I have a bit of a mystery here-

One of the freebie cartos (thanks!) was English Toffee. I lurve toffee flavor so I had to try it out. When I took the rubbers off I thought it smelled a bit like coconut... and when I vaped it that's exactly what it was.

I love it.
Seriously, this is the absolutely best tasting eliquid I've tried - and I usually don't even like pg -or- coconut. I am going to have to just brave my pg sensitivity to vape this flavor - it rocks that much.

So now I'm about to place another order (yup, right off the deep end) and I want this flavor, but I'm 99% sure it's a mislabeled carto and I need to know what flavor it actually is.

I know some other people mentioned that their English Toffee tasted like coconut a while back- did anyone ever really figure out what the actual flavor was?

Pina Colada? Coconut Cream Pie? (I'm leaning towards pina colada)

Its not pinacolada,I have and like that.Its more coconutty than that.Its much different.

I thought it was Pina Colada... but I haven't had that one from here before. Definitely has a coconut taste.

I've had both the coconut and pina colada. They taste nothing alike. The coconut tastes like coconut. I have no idea what pina colada tastes like but it 'aint' coconut

Regardless - my English Toffee cartomizers aren't English Toffee! Since I have only placed two orders from this vendor I still haven't had the opportunity to try all the different flavors so I can't identify what it actually is.

Pina Colada should be a Coconut and Pineapple blend with possibly a touch of rum. These seem more like that type of taste to me than pure coconut. Coconut cream pie might be an option but I haven't tried it before.

If you are planning to order a 5-pack of cartos you can request 5 different flavors in the comments box. That way you could get an english toffee, pina colada, coconut, coconut cream pie, and one other 'potential' flavor... then you can conduct your own little taste test and identify your mystery flavor.

Actually I believe you can request a combo "type" of flavors like fruit, tobacco, menthol. But the guys have stated they cannot individually pick each flavor for each order. Sample packs will be coming soon though!

I just tried it again after putting it down the PV a few hours and I'm going to go ahead and say that out of those 2 choices I think it's probably Pina Colada. I detected a very slight hint of what might be pineapple, no rum flavor though.

Anyway, I don't know but whatever it is but it's tasty.

I have the Pina Colada which I love, but still would like to try the 'maybe mislabeled' English Toffee aka Coconut.

I don't think so...it was more ...fruity? than chocolate dessert like.

It may be pina colada but FWIW, V4L does also offer a plain coconut flavor (it may just be out of stock ATM).

Fruity you say? Hmmm. The coconut carto I had did not taste fruity at all! Of course individual taste buds vary, but maybe you are right to look for a flavor that has coconut mixed with a fruit flavor.

I got 2 packs of the english toffee - but got the coconut mystery also. I hadn't tried the english toffee yet so I was a little confused at first, but after reading other folks having the coconut mystery at least I knew my taste buds weren't fried! LOL! I thought it had a slight taste of a fruit in the background and also think maybe pineapple, but I think that would be stronger in a pina colada. But definately coconut, but not a bad vape. I'm waiting a while before I try to get the english toffee. This is ok, but that was what I really wanted.

I had other issues that came up and didn't bother to pursue it. I have emailed them in the past regarding other problems and I did get a response.

These threads are old,from an old batch.There is no more problem,its been addressed.If you dont like your carto flavor,you can trade it or order something different.Not everyone loves every flavor,thats why theres a trade thread.Carts and juice are not returnable just because you dont care for it.

OK, so I'm not crazy. I had the same thing happen. English toffee tasted like coconut. I was thinking pina colada too. I also have some pina colada ones too, and my wife mentioned something weird. She said they tasted like Smarties candy. I agreed. Weird, huh? LOL.
