Hi all,

Well I have a Provari incoming after trying a couple at different vape meets. Should be delivered "soon". Ordered it with the extended 18650 cap, eGo-T adapter, and batteries for both with/without the extension cap.

I was just wondering if there are any "peculiar things" I need to know about. I went with the Provari due to it's regulated nature rather than for high voltage use.

Also, since I'll not be ramping up the voltage- can a standard 18650 (Trustfire 18650 2400mah) be used on the unit?

So my use (given a 3 ohm atty) will be between 3.6 and 4.1 volts- is there anything unanticipated I might need to know?

I'm currently using a lot of 510-t atties, eGo-T atties, 3 ML Clearomizers, and MAP tanks. Rarely drip.

Thanks for any comments :)

Well cozzi i can say from owning my black provari, The once you put a map tank on it...or a new Dual coil map tank on it....You won't be using those ego t's anymore i don't think lol... I used my 3.2 ohm ce2 map tanks at 4.6ish volts but i know i like a warmer vape then you, from watching on vapetv and reviews :p....4v should be good at around 3.0 for you...however the dual coils can be finicky if you get the low res one, the standard resistance dual coils will let you go up to 6v no issue.

Hi Cozzicon!

Congratulations!

I have to agree about using the MAP tank with the ProVari, a great combination.

Stick with the recommended AW IMR high drain batteries for use with the ProVari.

With whatever atty/coil you use, start at a lower voltage and work your way up to your "Sweet Spot", you will know when you hit it. It's what makes the ProVari so awesome.

Enjoy!

I suggest you get the AW IMR batteries. Also like the poster above me stated, map tanks are awesome. I actually use a CE2 tube mod from stormy's vapor cellar. Its only $10 and the replacement pre-cut CE2s are only $4. They've worked better form me than MAP tanks but in general, these types of tank systems are much better. They are also easier to clean than ego tanks. No boiling or alcohol involved. Just warm water, a paper towel and then a dry burn and its brand new.

You might want to try high voltage vaping, it's incredible. Try it out with your ego-t and you'll see.

First, you will eventually try high voltage, and when you use high voltage with the right joose, it's gonna blow your mind.

Second, protected batteries are just fine for the Provari. The reason for choosing AW IMR is based on the difference in "power curve" between protected and high drain. Several people on here choose to use the protected cells.

Using the provari for several months. A dealer of Italian proVari, NCR used the 2900mAh, result ... has burned the spring.
Contacted the manufacturer for advice on batteries and is categorically not recommended to use batteries other than the AW IMR, with these they make their tests before marketing the product. Even also void your warranty if you use other batteries that are not theirs.
The best method of feeding the liquid to be invented ...
Meanwhile, the use of adapter 510 -> EGO Giantomizer, clearomizer, lately with Atty-Tank storm, about 2 ml, comes with battery 1300mAh larger of the normal ego 650mah. Aesthetically is not bad.
If you want the best then you need to look at the T-A2, or the tank iAtty

you should try the new clearo's from gotvapes. they use a thicker tube than the normal ones, 5 pack for around 11 bucks i think. only downside is a regular driptip doesn't fit on them so well.

Hi cozzicon,
It's great to see you again after a while. How's your mom now? I hope everything is good there. You can use your Trustfire 2400 mAh IF you are not running your provari more than 3.7 volt. I use them too if I'm vaping @ 3.7 volt and below. But to be safe, just use the suggested IMR batts or you can use AW 2600mAh & 2900mAh protected if you have them (these two have sufficient amperage).

I just entered provari land today, I must say... this thing is a beast. I'm definitely going to have to lower my nic level from 18mg down to about 12 or 6 because I cant put this thing down:vapor:, but if I don't I'll get a headache lol. I've been using boba's bounty in my ce2's and they are getting dry spots, probably because im back to back vaping. I think im going to invest in a tank of some sorts.

look into the liquinator! i got one on order and theyre supposedly the bees-knees! as far as the provari goes they recommend only using AW IMR's. i'd heed those instructions for warranty purposes..besides AW's are the best.
You're about the millionth person recommending these liquinators, I'm definitely going to have to get one. these ce2s are drying out way to fast on this beast.

Another vote for the Liquinator + Provari .. it's an incredible combo .. works fantastic, looks great and vapes like a dream! You can use your own blank cartomizers, slot them yourself with a dremel, fill the tank up with liquid and you're good to go!

I have a liquinator inbound. But to be honest I'm pretty happy with eGo-T, 510-T, and MAP tanks. Will be giving it a try.

My Provari order seems held up compared to the other orders that seem to be shipping... so it may be two weeks before I get to try it anyway :(
