ePower battery question

The ePower comes with 14650 batteries. Was wondering if the 14500 could be used with spacers in this unit?

Apparently, if you have the 14650 body, you can pull the spring up a little to take up the extra space so a 14500 will fit snugly and not rattle around making intermittent contact.

Haven't tried it - it's just what I see others reporting here on the forum.
