Im interested in the bottom feeder style and know very little about the whole rba thing. I just follow and only have a Phoenix that I installed a pre wrapped coil and wick on. I want something easy like that. The ego-L looked easy too. Maybe easier but I got Phoenix on recommendation for beginners. I'd like to know about the hornet too for my Reo. Black or silver is fine with me. I kinda think well be paying extrabfor colors on this rba. I've read good things about stuff out of the Philippines. Will this be beginner friendly? Me, I just plan to stick to standard resistances and try different wick materials at this point.

I have a hornet, which is a slightly smaller ERA. It is very good quality and an awesome vape.

I was initially uninterested in RBAs and slightly intimidated by the process. Then I bought a hornet and gave it a try.

Making the coil is very easy, slipping it into the holes on the posts of the hornet (or ERA) is very easy and inserting a rolled cotton wick thru the coil is also very easy.

What is the most amazing is the quality of the vape. You will likely find the entire rebuilding concept quite fascinating and engrossing - fun, like a hobby. Not to mention that for the cost of a disposable atty or carto you get enough wire and rolled cotton to make dozens of coils and wicks. Once you have a decent coil installed, you simply change the wick when ever you want.

The hornet is not inexpensive, but IMO, money well spent. Roughly 6 months of disposable carto costs to buy a hornet, but I believe that it will not only last much longer than that, but you will have a better vape, the knowledge of exactly what materials are in the heater and the pride of knowing that you built it!

I say get one and get after it. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Well. I probably will next month. I did get on the co op for the A7 mini that was recommended to me for Reo ( mini 18500)
If its not quite as good nor as easy I will learn at least for $16.00-ish delivered. But Hornet will probably get great reviews from everybody. I'm in no hurry so I'll wait ( have to anyway!)

I'm waiting for a Nimbus I decided...the fatty is ok but I don't like the post setup, the adjustable airflow is pretty cool. If anything i'd get the Dream (fatty clone) for $8 instead of $65 (or so) for the fatty when that's the price of some really high end RDAs (RBAs). I think it will be hard for me to find something I like more than the IGO L it's a great little atty

I've only found one thread on this. Wondering if it's worth the $75. I already own an IGO L and love it, this ERA seems to be similar and i like the looks of it, but is it worth the $75?

Easily Rebuildable Atomizer - ERA - ERA / Hornet Rebuildable Atomizer Information

The ERA is elusive if not impossible to obtain right now.I do have the Hornet and it does perform extremely well,it is indeed a smokestack.I have also purchased the Smok RDA and, while it does have a tendency to leak with too many drops,it performs but i think the Hornet outperforms it.The cost of it is a little steep, but it's rebuildable.Think about all the attys you throw away, especially if you use alot of 357 attys, the price adds up on them considerably. The Hornet is well worth the cost for the performance you are/will be getting out of it.Everyone should have,at least one, quality dripper in there arsenal.
