ERLK clone leaks when filling

I have a clone of this rta, don't know by which mfgr., but looks like this one $13.65 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (8ml) - stainless steel / 20.9mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

When filling, it leaks some out the bottom, not a whole lot, but enough to make a little mess I have to clean up. I have looked thru the auth. erlk thds. for a possible fix, but nothing there that helps in my case, probably due to mine being a clone and not the auth. Just wondering if anyone with a clone has a solution.
Once I'm done filling, and it stops leaking that initial amount, everything is fine, doesn't leak at all until I fill again.

They all do it if you don't fill quickly enough, including the authentic. You need a fast flowing needle bottle or syringe for best results. Try to fill in under 6 seconds. If you can't, close the top and fill in stages.

My first fill had some drops leak out. And I asked here and found out I had to be quick. Since then its gone perfectly, and I've had 3; one authentic and two clones.

I'll let you know how it goes for me, although it'll probably be a couple days before I refill again. I like this enough to maybe get another one. Still on my first build on it, and must of got that right.

Everything tight including the 510 pin and chimney?
AFC is completely shut down while filling?
Close fill port and invert.
Wait ten seconds.
Open AFC.
Wait ten seconds.
Turn it right side up and screw in.
That's what works for me.

Yeah, I don't use the afc rings and its difficult to block the airholes otherwise. So the under 6 second fill does it for me

Thanks @hypocritelecteur I saw quorax's method in a thread, and couldn't find it again, so went by memory, and after reading your description I see I got it wrong. LOL, me and my memory.

The Erl relies heavily on vacuum and air pressure to control juice and flow, so the trick is giving the tank time to reach a pressure equilibrium.

Filling quickly might help as well--haven't tried that. This works for my clone, and guessing it will work when my Prinz arrives.

The Erlk accessories fit the Prinz.

The 3 x 1 and 5 x 1 o rings disappear at an alarming rate. I bought packs of 100 cheap from the Oring Store.

Tanks that fit the authentics may or may not fit well on the clones.

I always try to put my finger over the drip tip hole to somewhat prevent pressure loss.
maybe that will help.

Finally got around to re-filling this.
I closed the afc.
Turned it over, and opened the fill holes, and filled it to about 80% full.
Closed the fill holes, waited aprrox. 10 seconds.
turned it over, and opened the afc, waited approx. 10 sec., and turned it over.
It still dumped some out the bottom, as well as a little came out the drip tip when I turned it over to open the afc.
Everything does seem tight, so maybe it's just because it's a clone and not as well made as an authentic?
It seems a little gurgly, like it's wicking too well, so I need to work on that also.
After the initial fill, it doesn't leak until it get's down low on juice, then just maybe a few drops.

I think I'm gonna order spare O-rings for everything according to Qorox"s post, and try replacing them all, and see what happens. I'll also check out the glass from IBT.

My Authentic will piddle a tad out the chimney/Drip Adaptor if open AFC while upside down (after holding @ 10 seconds) or a tad out the bottom if wait to open AFC till return upright after the Inversion hold.
The Piddling is very small and only right as the AFC is first cracked open. So not a Biggie.
Will try to be quicker on the Fill Process and see if makes a Diff.
Might try beginning the AFC opening wile inverted after the initial hold and soon as she starts to spin open turn upright quickly to see if that makes a difference.
None the less, This Thing really Rocks!
Like a Champion Show Dog, I can live with a slight Piddle every now and then given its perpetual Blue-Ribbon Performances

Watching a WoToFo Clone on vape95 real seriously. Want another bad but $40 easier to justify the 2nd go-round than another $130. Will report on theirs once procure and engage it in battle.

Have IBT Prism Zombie Tanks for full-size and Nano. Quality Stuff. Hopefully will work on the WoToFo as well.
Only lost 1 O-Ring so far (one on top of Chimney) but listened to Roxy and have several replacements on hand for the inevitable.
