ERLK clone leaks when filling

I do have a 1:1 clone I got from Angel Cigs that I haven't used yet. I liked the smaller tank on these and the fact they are glass rather than plastic. But the build deck looks exactly the same. I'll give it a try and see if the airflow/tight draw is the same.

Does the one from FT have the feed control ring? I kinda like that one, may have to get one.

The one I have doesn't. But it vapes just fine - other than not being quite as airy as I'd like.

I've never used the feed control rings. We think they are for holding silica. They seem to keep the air bubbles from getting to the top of the tank.

You can open the draw by taking off the black afc ring or using the authentic larger positive pole holder.

Roxy, is the "larger positive pole holder" an extra you have to order from the manufacturer? I've never heard of it before.

Yes. It really does open the airflow. I have mine in right now. I don't know if it fits all the clones, but it fit the 1:1 clone I had.

Thanks, Roxy. I just found it on the Erlkonigin site. Now I have to decide if I want to spend $18 plus shipping, which is more than this clone cost. Maybe I'll just get the original once I've made up my mind if I really like the Erl as opposed to another RTA.

Or get the Erlprinz for less? Its a pricey tank, that's for sure, but I love the flavor.

Anybody have a line on a tank for an erlk clone? Mine cracked due to an o/s o-ring on the bottom. The 17x1mm O-rings I ordered for it are too big. A kind soul sent me some 16x1mm that I think are the correct size and will try those if I can get another tank.

The IBTanked glass may or may not fit.

If I still had my clone I would send one. I had a few, but I gave it to another member.

Well huuummmph! I just found I can't order and pay for an erlk clone and use my PP acct. to pay for it, due to the RTA. I'm sure not gonna send my cc info to china.
So much for that.
Funny tho, a few days ago I ordered an RDA with no problem.

There's a way around it. Order something else. Then cancel the order and ask for a store credit instead of a refund. Then use that to order the Erlk stuff.

You might be able to buy a gift certificate, too, and use that.

I may try howling and having my girlfriend dance naked around the table hehehehehe. but to you original question I had the same problem at first but then I tried putting a little more wick in the juice channel and tapering the wick from the bottom of the wick channel to the top and have had no leaks since doing that. I tested it with 80/20 PG/VG and with 95/5 VG/PG juice and it worked fine.

My leaks had stopped until the bottom of the tank cracked due to an o/s o-ring.

No Issues or Complaints at all. Would order another if the need ever arose without hesitation.
I can vouch for the 2mm Wide-Bore Upgrade on any Erk K (Authentic or Clone) being a desirable improvement. My Authentic has that and the Clone does not. That is the only thing that makes me prefer it over the WoToFo Clone. The superior machining and finish is nice too but does not affect Performance so not a "real" issue or concern in my book.
