I'm gonna have to agree with both of those sentiments. The 510 is excellent but battery life on all the "cigarette" size models is abysmal. The eGo / Tornado (had to do that as I have Tornadoes....same thing) battery on the other hand will last me about 6 or 7 hours and I vape HEAVILY, all day at my desk and it rarely leaves my face. If you have been smoking more than a pack a day, I honestly believe you can get started for not much more money with an eGo/Tornado than you could with all the extra batteries, charging case (PCC); and with a LOT less hassles.

My $0.02....whatever you decide, put a Nike on it (JUST DO IT!)

OK, I see that all their sets are relatively cheap, but there are several different models on the janty site... Which one are we talking about?

I'm trying to put a Nike on it, but don't want to burn $100 on a turd like I did with my first purchase :p

Any of the eGo manual sets would be fine (choose your color).. haven't read anything at all about the automatic eGo but personally i would recommend against.

In addition to the eGo set, you should probably pick up a couple extra atomizers and some juice and you would be set to vape with a VERY good device which will produce tons more "smoke" than any of the cigarette styles with tremendously improved battery life.

Good luck

Ok, I just found on the cignot store that there is an eGo there as well. It is out of stock as well, but will be available tomorrow afternoon. I believe I have arrived at my decision ;) The wait will be killing me...

Oh, and thanks to all of you that went rounds with me... $100 isn't the end of the world, but definitely not something I'd like to use as toilet paper.

I recommend trying out the new 510 cartomizers too. I started with the 510 manual kit and upgraded to the eGo about 4 days later (that's a testament to the lack of battery life) and now I'm using the 510 cartomizers too and really loving it - except that the pre-filled ones are gross tasting so you should get the empty ones and fill them yourself. The cartomizer lasts me a long time (about 1/2 a day maybe) and they're extremely easy to fill.

I have both the 510 and the kr808
kr808= screw on a cartomizer and go, they can be refilled or just purchased already full
510 = 3 piece with separate atomizer. Cartos can be refilled with liquid. There is more fussing with it. Cleaning the atomizer and filling the carto,
cartos come in less flavors .
Ego and Tornado are really just a 510 with longer battery life.
It is a good kit, but for plug and play go with a kr808 from v4l

I'm not dissing either kit, both are good , depends on what you want. Each has its advantages.

that's why I'm recommending the 510 cartomizers these days. It's like the best of both worlds. :)
of course, I don't know about flavor variety with the 510 cartomizers since I just fill my own. It's really easy.

So much to think about, and so little I actually understand (but learning). At this point I am almost leaning towards the eGo AND a vapor king shorty (is that a kr808 too?). Maybe this is overkill, but my impulse sense is tingling...lol

I will get a few 510 carts to go with my eGo... Been refreshing the page at Cignot all day waiting for my kit to come available!

I wish they'd let me backorder...

Yes, now I am excited, but I am working on the V4L site now...

Anyone have recommendations on flavors? I like coffee, so I was thinking an english toffee, a frappuccino, and someone told me the mint was pretty good (if you like menthol - I was an avid menthol smoker, and liked cloves on occassion)... I may hold off on the KR until I get my first order as I should probably leave some money in the bank and get a feel for all this before going for broke?

I have a Smoker Friendly GreenCig... but I'm not sure how useful that'll be as it's not impressed me too much so far.

Hi,
Like you, I originally made the mistake of ordering the Greensmoke kit with menthol carts.
YUCK.
Then I bought a 510 and started ordering juices. I found that the battery life on the 510 was too short, and I was constantly charging and changing batteries. So, a bought a few tornado batteries from TotallyWicked, and they have a good long life.
As for flavors. I've yet to find a menthol that tastes anything like a menthol cigarette. Mostly just very overpowering mint. So I've been vaping mostly coffee flavors from Tasty Vapor. Cafe Mocha, Cafe Macciato, and Tasty Finger are all very good. And like the others here have told you, order HIGH nicotine content juices.

Where do I find the 510-808 adapter? Is that V4L as well?

Yes, the GreenCig with menthol carts is ok in keeping me off the bad stuff, but overall? Yuck is right.

I would think the eGo version of the 510 should solve the issue with battery life. It uses the same battery they sell over at tornado.

I went to Tasty Vapor and only found zero nicotine flavors?

Anyhow, in the meantime, I also ordered V4L flavor samples to get a feel for what I lean towards in the flavor department:

1. LQ5LEMONMERINGUE-HIGH Lemon Meringue Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
2. LQ5ALMONDCHOCOCOCO-HIGH Almond Chocococo Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
3. LQ5PUMPKINPIE-HIGH Pumpkin Pie Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
4. LQ5BLACKTEA-HIGH Black Tea Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
5. LQ5LEMONLIMEAID-HIGH Lemon Lime Aid Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
6. LQ5BANANACREAMPIE-HIGH Banana Cream Pie Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
7. LQ5COCONUTCREAMPIE-HIGH Coconut Cream Pie Nobacco Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
8. LQ5COCONUT-HIGH Coconut Nobacco Juice (5ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95
9. LQ5PINACOLADA-HIGH Pina Colada Juice (5 ml) - High $2.95 1 $2.95

personally I dont love a lot of v4l flavors but ms t's bakery is awesome. I do love v4l equipment though:)
Oh wow... I'll have to give this one a try too, but better wait a week or two for my debit card to stop burning a hole in my wallet :p. Anything in particular over there that is good? Bacon sounds freaky weird, not sure I'm up to that...lol

I get the feeling that although v4l flavors may not be up to par, compared to the GreenCig menthol carts I am using now, it'll be heaven, right?

My previous comment about 0 nicotine were incorrect (my bad), I was only looking at the 4mg bottles when I should have looked at the 1mg. No doubt that this will be on my todo list for my next vapor excursion!
