Erroneous ohm readings...

Yesterday, i was checking a few rebuilds and the ohm readings were really low.

Brought out the multimeter to verify and sure enough there was a large variance.

Taking out the battery and popping it back in fixed the problem.

Anyone else have this happen before? What would cause this to happen?

Can you pop in a fully-charged battery and tell us if that gives erroneous readings?

It worked fine after I took that battery out and put it back. I think it was at 3.6 or 3.7v It was an AW 18350 fwiw.

It only happened that one time. I hope that I can't get it to do that again.
