Trying to even post this thread was a chore, you cannot click on the title to enter the title, there are white buttons overtop, I had to use tab to get to it. Same thing when trying to PM someone.

We upgraded to the latest forum version at 4am last night, and the forum was offline for half an hour while the main work was done.
There is always a great deal more work to do after an upgrade than there was in the actual upgrade. For example, all our templates (skins or themes) will need to be re-worked. Until they are fixed, you will find some layout issues: buttons missing, covered over or non-working.
This remedial work will probably take about a week to complete.
Please report any issues here so that we can find and fix them. Remember that we need the EXACT details please: the skin you are using, what page, what did you click, what were you trying to click, etc.
Then, our coder can track down the problem. If we tell him, "Stuff don't work, dude", steam comes out of his ears and we have to run away quickly.

I see this on all pages related to viewing my profile:
That text does not appear on any other pages that I've noticed, only when viewing my profile or any page related to it (such as likes received, etc). It doesn't inhibit any site functionality, but is obviously not normal so reporting ;-)

Kirsch. When PMing, clicking on the smiley face icon shows a smaller window with scroll bars horz. and vert. to see all the icons. This happens when posting or replying also.

Some of the issues that disappeared without us doing anything were caused by your browser having cached Javascript/CSS (the forums use aggressive caching on a lot of stuff). So, if you see a problem, first try cleaning your cache.
I will look into your other issues - if you can please include browser used (including version) so that I can replicate the issue.

This is fixed. The idiots at vBulletin hard-coded the Smiley-box width to their smiley format; so since ECF smileys are bigger, this happens. I had to find the Javascript and edit the hard-coded width there. Unfortunately, this change will need to be redone at each upgrade. You will need to delete all your cache to see the fix as Javascript is currently cached by browsers visiting the website.

I cannot find this code anywhere in vBulletin - and I cannot reproduce the issue. I hope I am wrong, but it could be something specific to your PC, even some trojan injecting stuff into the web page. Can you please confirm you see this only with the main skin?
Is there anybody else that is able to reproduce this? We tested on two different machines and we are not able to.

This is fixed. The TMS has a weird glitch (it has not been upgraded in a while and vBulletin keeps on changing their stuff), that causes all its edits to fail after an upgrade. We need to go through all the TMS modifications and save them manually to flush the cache. Let me know if you still have a problem with this.
What do you mean? You cannot select it from the dropdown?
Anyhow, I think that now that vBulletin has its own official mobile skin, we should switch to it.
The color scheme seems slightly whacked now. I'm on Win7, latest Firefox, using Blackend ECF theme.
In a thread, if I click on a user name to get the dropdown list, things like view their profile or send them a PM, all the choices are hard to read, the text color fades into the background. Also Notifications, top right on every page, seems to be "off", colors not changing right and/or hard to read when something changes.

I will get to that - unfortunately the styles we have are very old by vBulletin standards: we'd need to redo them from scratch but it would take a week of work. So I need to adjust issues as we find them. I did the best I could during the upgrade, but they changed 200 style variables in 4.1.11, so all old skins are not working as they should, ESPECIALLY dark ones.
Hmm, happening in all skins. Only on the "My Profile" page and viewing likes received/given at the moment. I will check my system and report back . . .
EDIT: BTW, just for hoots I tried disabling my add-ons and no change, so it's not coming from NoScript or Adblock
