Site is very slow loading

I find this site is very slow to load, and sometimes gets confused and hangs my browser - especially when I try to use the 'back' button after browsing several pages deep into a topic. Also, I have occasionally been sent to a random forum when entering the site.

Has anyone else had these problems, or is it just me?

I always though the site was slowish since the beginning, now it's much worst. the last week or so, it is now real slow.. 5-10 secs to load a page. Hope it only temp.

Loading great for me, been this way for some time now (for me). (ECF-1 skin on Chrome)

I haven't had any issues with it being slow either. I'm running the Blackened theme with Chrome.

i've been getting an occasional hiccup - ff - ecf-1 - but nothing like a couple of months ago ..... knock on wood!

It's pretty slow for a forum, but has pretty much always been like this. It's not really noticeable unless you're paying attention to it. If it's REALLY bad try updating your browser.

have y'all tried ecf-1? i had serious problems before, during and after the second-to-last update but no complaints lately except an occasional - very occasional - hiccup as mentioned. i do run adblocker though ..............

I use ecf-1 so maybe that is why I'm not having any problems.
