I know how you guys feel, but honestly, if it didn't take this long to produce, the devices simply wouldn't get the attention they deserve, and the end result would not be what you paid for in the first place. David takes the time to personally inspect each device and prepare them for shipping, as he's stated before. And when you put that much of a personal touch on each product it's only natural that the wait time be what it is.

If you went to a master swordsmith for a damascus or samurai steel knife or sword, you would expect the wait time to be something substantial. This type of product coupled with the volume of requests is no different in that each device requires personal attention by David to live up to it's name - The Precise.

Cherish your time spent waiting as it directly reflects the quality of the product you will receive.

Thank you for taking the time to do up a review Vpingmonkey, i really like the way you put your videos together with the little picture insets!

Thanks David! It's an awesome device and my everyday pv now..but as promised, I'm glad you like it.

But again, thank you for the prize David, it was way worth the wait.

I'm working on a sizeable batch of units and i printed up a bunch of ship labels today for them. I should be able to get the majority shipped tomorrow, but please don't tie me up if i don't get a few of them out until monday. If you tie me up, i won't be able to ship them to you

I can commiserate.. the wait is practically killing me (order # 5276 / March 25th / week 8 if I'm counting right)
Coincidentally I was watching a NatGeo video today showing Ferrari's production line, and they stated that the current wait time on a new car is approx. 2 years. So I guess it could be worse :)
Good stuff is worth the patience...

Dave, I heard that there's a optional locking switch in the works?? Just double checking..But again, awesome device!! =-D

Yes, there will be a new locking button available. I don't have a firm date yet on the release but will let you know when i do:)

Just placed my order for a P18 this past weekend and my order number is 6037. I know it's going to be a bit of a wait, but I am very excited about it. I also realize that not every order number will be for a Precise, but probably for tips or batteries.

So here's a question: Anyone close to my number ordering a precise get their ETA? :)

I guess I am antsy, but I'm not expecting my shipping notice for a while now. I just want to figure out how Precises away from mine getting shipped there are. XD I guess it's the analytical side of me, wanting to know my number in the queue (and trying to figure out my wait time based on that - I tend to do so much better waiting for something when having more of an idea of how long the wait is).

Im at about 5 weeks now. I know all about antsy myself. I think I still have a bit to go.

Hey forcedfuel50, any Idea how close you are to order 5563? its a P10440 + brass caps. Thanks :)

I'm 5 P10 orders out from yours, so i'll be starting on yours probably Friday, so it should go out later this week or early next week.
