The logo on the Tornado is etched into the bottom of my platinum one. I don't think the logo is anywhere else on them.

In answer to your question in the other thread, yes, the platinum does have just a hint of gold color to it. It's a really sharp looking e-ni!

If you do buy the TORNADO-Mega Powered USB Charger, you need to keep in mind that it will NOT work with the Titan batteries. It will blow (fry) the Titan batteries. TW will not cover any battery that is charged with this charger other than the Tornado.

So...the TW Tornado has the lil devil logo etched on the bottom...It would be nice if there wasn't any markings on the device at all. Not that I don't like the logo, I just rather not have logos on my stuff is all. Do they have there logo on the white and black ones as well? Thanks for answering my questions.

Let me give you a word of warning on this device.

The cone is a nice touch. It cleans up the "lines" on the unit and tightens up the draw a bit. But..... it is really easy to "lose touch" with the atty temp when it is installed. Out of habit I used to put my finger on the atty to see how hot it was running. I could tell if I was running dry, or running too wet pretty easily. You obviously can't do that with the cone attached.

I wasn't paying enough attention last night and apparently I got the atty in my unit WAY too hot (didn't notice it with the vapor production though). I was looking at the atty today and I could clearly see that I had melted the white plastic disk in the base of the atty. I've got the right drills and skills.. so I am able to "fix" that.... but it spooked me a bit.

Just thought I would repost here on TotallyWicked so you guys know white is good!!

My big white beauty just arrived 5 minutes ago!

It came in a quality white box with magnetic snap as expected from TECC with the 2 batteries, 2 white atomisers, metal nose cone, manual and adapter for charger! Underneath is of course the powercord, pot of cartridge vapes and what looks to be the standard 510 charger. I have of course started vaping on the first battery whilst the second charges hehe! I decided to stick one of the supplied carts on whilst I pondered the best way to drip and the throat hit is fantastic!!! It hits like a penstyle but a little warmer which is nice The white is totally beautiful in every way! It is matte finish and a very bright polar white, this colour looks better in the flesh as it looks like dull white in pictures and best of all it looks more like a space rocket than a cigarette!! The manual button is transparent hard plastic, has a nice white LED inside and has a clicky feel to it similar feeling to pressing play on a quality CD player, not much force is needed to activate. Since the button is on the metal band it is slightly recessed lowering the chances of accidentally popping any atties!!

Now I must test its battery life!!

Maybe one could consider white again, it will keep cool in the summer by reflecting the sunlight whilst making you feel bright and happy at the same time and its white LED to match which is blocked by your finger whilst holding the button making stealth vaping easy

Thats an excellent point, Scottbee, and can't be stressed enough. I've done pretty much the same thing, though I don't think I damaged the atty. People new to vaping really need to keep this in mind.

I forgot to use a discount code! Ohh well I will remember next time :D Seems like the USB charger is a good thing to get and the 5 batteries set!

Ohh yea I bought mine from TECC because the green logo is more suited to a beautiful white device whereas the devil looks the best on a black device!

Okay, who is TECC?:confused::oops:

I was watching the video review on the Totally Wicked site and noticed that the reviewer was chain vaping long, deep drags. My eyes got big as I wondered how long that atty would last. No problem for him though. He probably gets deep discounts or free parts.

I've been vaping for about three weeks now. I have a regular 510, which we all know needs frequent battery charges. I was considering getting MadVapes 510 Mega kit (great price), then I was considering the Bartleby. Now the Tornado has come to my attention. I don't mind paying the price for the kit, but find that TW is more expensive with replacement parts. These are regular 510 atomizers, right? I can get them from the company with the best price, yes?

Yes, they are 510 attys. You can also use the Titan Mega Attys and Mega Carts for an even longer lasting vape. :)

If you already have a Titan charger and 510 attys, you could just buy a couple of Tornado batteries and cones and an adapter to charger the Tornado with your current Titan charger. Hope that helps!

Good advice Minna. I just found the thread Tornado or regular Titan 510? on Requests for Opinions/Reviews. It's comparing the Tornado and eGo and discussing whether the 510 Mega or Tornado/eGo is better. Tornado/eGo is winning. Looking at the Totally Wicked forum, I'm seeing a LOT of dissatisfied US customers. I'm checking out the Janty forum now. Janty provides one less atomizer in their kit, but I like the idea of a long warranty on the battery and atomizer. I think I'm willing to sacrifice one atty for peace of mind.

Good luck with your Janty then but, you'll be missing out on one great e-cig. ;) :)

Well, I haven't decided against anything. With the exception of the atomizer count, power supply, and warranty differences, they are the same device. And TW offers the mega attys and carts, where Janty doesn't.

The one thing I've learned in my short vaping life (one month tomorrow) is to not go in too many directions at once because there are too many variables. (I'm still working out how much nicotine to use in my liquid.) And to not jump on something immediately, because there might be something just around the corner that suits me better. In the last day and a half, I've evolved from deciding on the $42 MadVapes 510 Mega kit, to the Bartleby, to the ego/Tornado. Glad I didn't order the Mega kit immediately.

I still don't know enough about the mega attys and carts to make an informed enough decision, and I can wait awhile. So I decided to go with Janty for now because the customer/company juju feels better and because they offer a good warranty on batteries and attys. Doesn't mean I won't buy mega attys and carts from TW in the future. No one company is a panacea. It just means that I like a company that stands behind their products and is easy to deal with. Just my preference from my longish personal life experience. Cheers!

Hey, I got an idea - if you can color the led...why not use other colors too like green/yellow, something funky like that lol ?

Somewhere in my safari through vaporland, I've seen replacement tips that are different colors and have gemstone-like shapes. I don't think they sparkle though. Sorry, but I don't remember where.
