I have no idea when did they pass such a law for "flavors". Doesn't make any sense to me but here's what happened...

I ordered Capella, FA, TPA, etc flavor concentrates from a UK merchant (JustVape247.com). A couple of days later, they canceled my order and sent me an email. The reason for canceling the order was that Europe laws don't allow them to ship flavors to India. So I contacted the support agent Joshua and re-confirmed if this was true. He confirmed, the flavors can't be shipped. He even mentioned that shipping services will not allow shipping flavor concentrates out of Europe.

Why oh why? Sigh ... {MODERATED} those are just flavor concentrates that I may use for cooking or for other stuff. If the law was for eliquids with Nic, I could understand. But ..... whateva bahh! SMH!

I'm not sure if the info given to me is correct but who knows for sure ..

Now I'm stuck, should I try ordering from another UK merchant or should I just order from a US merchant and get over with this boring job of searching good merchant that carry all flavors lol.

What added to my frustration is that the support agent Joshua from Justvape247 mentioned that their manager is away and will be back on May 27th. Until then, they can't process a refund. You can imagine my reaction lol.

Oh well, I've just found another merchant in the UK who has flavor concentrates of well known companies. I'll contact them and ask if they can ship to India. Let's see what they say.

*Thanks for the compliment for the avatar.

I found another UK merchant, placed my order on their website about a week ago. And to my amazement, shipping is free to India! I couldn't believe @ free shipping. I wish to name this merchant but that will be taken as advertising. So I'd just let you guys Google it without giving any indications or clues. They have their own super concentrates and not too expensive either. I've checked in 'my account' on this merchant's website and everything looks normal. The package seems to have been shipped three or four days ago. Just hoping I receive the package soon. I also contacted this merchant through the website contact form and asked if there is any tracking number for the shipment but haven't received a reply yet. Some of my friends on FT forum are regulars at this store and they recommend it a lot.

Well, maybe it is not the time yet to put my hands on Capella, FA, TFA, Lorann, etc. I'd try this merchant's super concentrates and if I'm satisfied, who needs Capella, TFA, FA, FW, Lorann, etc? Maybe in future I'll try those because right now, I'm not willing to pay $50 shipping for a few concentrates :)

(Please do not PM me to know the name, I'm not here to advertise businesses. I will disclose the name of this merchant only if a mod allows/permits me to).

If any merchant from UK is reading this thread, could you confirm if there is such a law?

I mean, one merchant says they are not allowed to ship flavors out of the UK and also claims that shipping services will not ship Capella, FA, TFA, etc flavor concentrates out of the UK.

On the other hand, the other merchant I ordered my flavors from, has shipped my flavors and that too with free shipping.

What the heck is going on? Would appreciate if a merchant can tell us if EU laws prohibit them from shipping flavor concentrates to India.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

You are free to mention any supplier you like unless it is censored by the forum's censor (which will be obvious when attempting to post it, and is a very short list). It's only "advertising" if it's your business.

Suppliers may not comment in this thread however, as per the Supplier TOS.

sonicdsl, thanks for the info!

Sad to know that merchants can't comment in this forum :(

I was hoping to get a reply or two about this funny EU law. But anyway, I'll try asking in some other forum.

About the merchant, if anyone is interested or have purchased from this merchant, please share your experience. Merchant is Vapours R Us | Vapour Cigarettes

Thanks!

In the EU there is no law (currently) to ship e-liquids inside EU or to outside of the EU (no flavor or nicotine level restrictions): if your local custom confiscates your order it is not the vendors fault. When you place the order from the EU you should know what restrictions you local custom may apply. The EU vendor will definitely send you order when you have placed to order.

I cannot for example order nicotine containing liquids from USA to Finland because nicotine is considered as medicine and import outside EEA is forbidden but I can order same flavor liquids without nicotine from USA.

Hi Hattivatti,

I understand the customs issues but this order had nothing to do with customs. I placed the order and in a couple of days, they cancelled the order mentioning EU Laws do not allow them to ship flavor concentrates to other countries (They never shipped the products in the first place). They also mentioned that none of the shipping services will allow shipping flavor concentrates outside because of the EU laws and restrictions.

Strange, I placed my order with the next UK vendor and they shipped "FREE" through Royal Mail International Signed and I received my concentrates within 5 days! This was the fastest ever shipping from the UK to my place!

Royal Mail, LOVE YOU! And thanks Vapours R Us! You guys rock!
