We lost the vote in the EU today. They have modified what they wanted and I do not know what they changed but it will need another vote. So in the EU they want them to be meds. There are still two rays of hope. There needs to be a vote of the whole EU parliament in September for it to become EU law. The EU own legal people say that it outside EU law to restrict them more than analogues.
We will find out later in the year and the law will not start until 2017.

Thank you for posting this. I was quite distressed earlier when I read about the vote, not realizing this was but a first step in the whole process. So it seems there's still hope this could be overturned?
