Hi and welcome to the board. Sorry to hear about your medical troubles. Unfortunately, the answer to your question is not known precisely. People haven't been vaping long enough for any long-term effects to be well categorized; and there is variance of opinion regarding the short-term. The best I can do is, if you are a never=smoker, don't vape. If you want to use vaping to quit smoking, by all means dive in.

Welcome to ecf ! and sorry for all your medical problems that sucks =/
The only thing i will say is that i'm type 1 diabetes and it's not dangerous i've been vaping like 3 months fine.
Although like some already pointed out if you've never smoked it's probably a bad idea to start vaping to be honest. It's would still be wiser to ask about it with your medical professional.

While seeking help/information from a doctor that is up to date with the science on vaping is the best course of action in this case I can give you some relevant information.

The only possible interaction I could see is if you have an allergy to propylene glycol which affects a very small percentage of vapers and can cause nausea which could worsen the side effects of treatment, but like I said this only affects a small percentage of people and can be avoided by using max VG eliquid.

As for the relative risk of smoking versus vaping a more recent study showed that vaping only has around 1% the cancer risk that cigarettes have so it may be a good move to make the switch however I am not a doctor and don't feel comfortable giving medical advice, I'd really suggest talking to your doctor about this or one that is up to date on the science surrounding vaping.

Anything other than clean air is bad for you to breathe. Every decision that you make will carry its own risks and its own rewards. It's up to you to make those decisions, and I'm glad that you are taking the time to try to make them informed decisions. I think you should talk to your doctor and ask him to help you make this one. I don't know enough about you to offer any advice. I started vaping to stop smoking. I feel like I made a good decision that will impact my life in a positive way, and my doctor agrees with me. Good luck with your treatments and I hope you're doing well.

I have provided a little more information which might help choosing/evaluating vaping. You have to be the doctor.
