Even ProVaris Can Have Issues I Guess

I bought a Satin Blue regular when they were being closed out and I have maybe run 10 batteries through it due to the fact I prefer my Minis for daily use. Today I was using it at home and noticed a clunking feeling when firing the button. I took the battery out and noticed the board was moving when I pushed the fire button. I read the FAQs and contacted ProVape for advice.

ProVape was very quick to respond but I feel somewhat disappointed that I am responsible for the cost of shipping it to them. I understand there can always be manufacturing defects but it doesn't seem that I should have to pay when they happen.

If you used your gas & labor to go buy a $1000 tv and got it home to discover it was defective, you would again use your gas and labor to take it back for a replacement. I don't see 4 or 5 bucks for shipping much different.

With most products the consumer has to pay for shipping to get the product to the manufacturer for warranty repair. This is no different. Why do you think it would be?

The only two companies that I can think of that I have not had to pay shipping to have a product serviced under warranty in the past 10 years have been Dell and Costco. In both cases I had to obtain preauthorization from the company first.

The epoxy bond breaking free, that has been Provapes "Achilles' Heel"... Never had it happen with my Provari's but several Provape1's I owned had that problem......

Has there been any reports of lost provari's when you have to send them back for repair? I would be a nervous wreck.

I think most people use a flat rate box (which has tracking) in order to get their precious back in their hot little hands in the fastest manner possible.
