Never ordered from RMV myself but I have been sent the wrong flavor from other suppliers. Totally sucks!
The problem is if it was your first time ordering a flavor (especially a tobacco flavor) then you have no idea if you got the wrong one the first time or the second time.

I suspect most of the suppliers order in bulk from China then re-bottle in their own specially labelled containers.

It's probably an easy mistake when they're rushing to fill orders but it totally sucks on your end when you load up your device with your favorite flavor only to find that you're now vaping the equivalent of dirty gym socks...

Let them know if it's a mistake and then let us know if they made any effort to correct it. :thumb:

The Caramel issue has been around since at least June/July.
It's Pina Colada, has a reddish tinge and it's the manufacturer's fault, not the vendor ( RMV in this case)
Another vendor had the same problem and evidently he contacted them and they claim that it is Caramel and is correct... it most definitely is not.
I haven't bought any Caramel in awhile because it's a known issue China won't fix.

So what you are basically are saying is that, RMV intentionally sent me a faulty product, and it was not a shipping mistake? That puts RMV into an even worse light. I'ts china's fault and not the vendor? Come on.... the vendor doesn't need to pass the buck to the consumer, that's no way to build loyal customers. Just relabel the product pineapple and sell it as what it is. Still waiting for a reply.

Oh good grief.. Reading comprehension please..
No RMV did not send it to you on purpose. They also don't relabel as far as I can tell from my past order's..
The Dekang Caramel has issues. The manufacturer Dekang.. in China.. has it messed up. Some batches seem ok but many, many are not correct depending on where they come from.
And no I don't believe it's the vendor's fault. It's impossible to catch every single bottle that maybe mislabeled.

Btw.. just email RMV. I'm sure he will fix it for you.

This si the caramel. I have gotten numerous orders of it by now and it always tastes the same. I have gotten this same complaint a couple times. There is nothing I can do about it. This flavor is what china thinks of caramel. I get the 36mg stuff from a different supplier and maker and it tastes almost the same.
I honestly don't know what to do about it. Should I stop carrying it, or name it something else? If I stopped carrying it people would be upset because there is a lot of people like a previous poster that really like this flavor.

Dave, I think I'd just call it 'China's Caramel'. If there's room, you could add 'maybe more of a ...... flavor' (whatever most say it tastes like).

I used to sell on ebay and had a good reputation there, but because no one is perfect, I had to ask for grace sometimes. No one ever denied it to me and I was so thankful for that.

I know when I order stuff I want it now and I want it right, but I have to remember that sometimes it's my turn to give out grace. Sometimes the mistakes are ours as sellers, and sometimes not, but regardless, as buyers we all need to give the benefit of the doubt to sellers like Dave whose intentions we know are already proven to be good! :)

very true, as vendors are only human they can't quite control the world, lol... if daves supplier is sending him pina/caramel, lol.... there's nothing he can really do about it....
i'd simply mark this up to a buying experience... as a buyer, we know that caramel just tastes like that....
kinda lose lose, but thats life sometimes

I have the same thing. I ordered Caramel from Good Prophets and it came in with a Coconut flavor. When I first got it, I new it wasn't Caramel and couldn't figure it out, but I liked it.

I finally pegged the taste as coconut and mentioned it to GP and Rob said the same thing as noted here, Pinacolada, but couldn't do anything about it. I couldn't complain as it was a FREE bottle.

I just ordered a 6ml bottle of caramel from EcigSmokeStore in addition to some vanilla and hope that I actually get some caramel. I should have it next week and will try and make it a point to post the results.

Hey RMV, I know my post has a couple of other vendors mentioned here, so if it is out of line, I would understand if you removed it or blanked out their names. It is not my intention to undermine your business.
