Ever Have Your E-Juice Turn On You?

Yeah, I'm new to vaping ~ 1 month+, and I have read here about Vapor Tongue, but I'm not sure that is what I am experiencing, because it is so selective.

Normally I vape with 2 setups switching it up based on my nicotine requirements.

Higher Nic - Kanger Mini Protank 3 on a Spinner 2, 50% (Casino 21 tobacco flavor 50PG/50VG 18mg) and 50% (Cowboy Red tobacco flavor 100% VG 12 mg)

Lower Nic - Kanger Mini Aerotank on an Itaste 3VV 2, 50% (Casino 21 tobacco flavor 50PG/50VG 6mg) and 50% (Cowboy Red tobacco flavor 100% VG 0 mg)

and I keep 4 ECTO T9 tanks around for the rare times I feel like a flavor, and 1 other T9 Exclusively for my Vanilla Carmel Tobacco with my morning coffee.


Anyhow, I have a Tobacco Flavor, I got from VaporChef Tobacco 42, which I tried out last night, and thought, "Hey this is yummy, I could switch to this for my ADV and stop having to screw around with blending those other 2 tobacco flavors."


However, ...


I woke up this morning, and it tastes completely different to me. Where last night, it tasted like a rich if somewhat musty tobacco, this morning it tastes like a lite version of their Unicorn poop flavor with no tobacco taste at all.

I screwed on a couple of the other tanks, and everything else tastes the same, but this one juice, seems to have done some Chimeric transformation.


Anyone have an explanation or had this happen to them?

It does, and it's usually time to change the wick and or turn down the voltage.

I'm not getting it though. The coils were changed before I put the flavor in, just last night, and I also turned down the voltage, because just before I put the flavor in, I was running 100% VG no flavor, no nicotine, at 11W on my Itaste 3 VV, just to see how big of a cloud I could get with such a wimpy set up, and I turned it down before I switched.

Nothing else tastes different if I slap any of my other tanks on. I just don't get it.

once in a while I'll start vaping something and it seems to loose flavor, I've tried brushing my teeth, eating something hot and spicy, and in the end just have to wait it out. a day or two usually.

I just don't get this though, all my other juices taste the same as before, but it's like the Underpants Gnomes snuck in my house last night and replaced a tobacco juice with a fruity floral.

THIS IS INSANE!

I tried it again after dinner, and it tastes like the first time I tasted it.

Do I have some sort of Lycanthropic juice, ... A Werejuice?

Did you leave it in the sunlight by chance? And vapor's tongue could be the issue. Make sure you brush your teeth, mouthwash, or use a juice that is a contrast to your normal all day vape, I use Vanilla / Mint to cleanse taste buds. I also drink coffee a lot that helps prevent vaper's tongue.

OK, also (and I'm not saying this is what it is for you, just that it has happened to many of us) sometimes you pick up a tank and start vaping it, and it tastes totally different than you were expecting, like maybe you are expecting Vanilla Tobacco, and you get Lucky Charms? We've all gotten tanks confused, and by extension, gotten ourselves confused. Any chance this could be the problem?

No, no chance of confusion. Besides me going off tooting my own horn over my exceptional clarity of mind and excellent memory, I only have 7 tanks, 4 different color ECTO T9s all different colors, blue-artic ice, red-watermelon, black-unicorn poop, silver-vanilla carmel tobacco, and another black one that us put away. 1 aerotank mini which is the tank I had the Werejuice in, and a mini pro 3 which has my all day tobacco mix vape. So, I'm well organized.

I also doubt the "vaper's tongue" call, because every other juice I have, tasted the same at all times.
